So is Morris slowly evolving into a worse version of P.J. Tucker?

I get the whole +/- thing, but he is out there putting up some P.J. Tucker statlines now.

Clippers really need to find a replacement for him in the off-season. They really need more production from the starting power forward spot.

SVG nailed it by saying this team is all talk. This team reminds me so much of that Brooklyn team with KG and Pierce.

This team is not making the playoffs. Just a complete disaster from the front office on down.

We already have a replacement for him rotting on the bench. He's not a low post powerhouse like MMSr though.

guys remember when i said this and it's now kinda coming true

"i'm ready to win 95% of the rest of our games because he really is the missing piece

i'm also ready to see the team go 0-21 because lue plays westbrook 39 MPG trying to make it work, get fired, then go on to say "well i coach off a card and it said because he's a former MVP i needed to play him a lot"

irony of it all is that westbrook's playing fairly decently, and the added irony is he seems to care more than half the guys on the team. but the fundamental reason of why adding him was a bad idea is continuing to show itself. and that's because there's just not enough time to integrate him and build a new identity, while the team at the very same time threw away the lifeline it had been given in that regard with the bones/gordon/plumlee additions.

shrug, what can you do? that's sports, i guess. don't take this as me pitying anyone or saying "i told you so" but i absolutely have sympathy for people who were holding on to the hope that zubac would set everything straight. that obviously wasn't the case tonight. there's just too much screwed up with this team for that one thing to matter.

We'll make the play in for sure. I don't see any of the 5-10 seed teams getting on a hot winning streak. We all know Ty Belichick's track record in the play in.

0-3 in the Westbrook era. It doesn’t matter if he has a good game, the backcourt is crowded. Why give Lue more chefs in the kitchen...

PG 10-21--25 pts 3 TOs
KL 8-19--23 pts 3 TOs

NOT GOOD ENOUGH
this is THEIR team
you have guys going for 30 or 40 70 all over the NBA

and just DON'T even Ty @ me

Morris 21 minutes 2 points
Batum 22 minutes 3 points
Mann 22 minutes 4 points
Norm 25 minutes 13 points on 4-14 shooting

actually Westbrook was the least of our problems
14/7/10 with 4 TOs on 5-11/2-3 shooting

one thing i think lue has a history of doing is putting ego players into positions where they sink or swim, and when the team suffers enough he makes changes. almost like "ok SEE? so now i'm gonna do this thing instead."

obviously not the case for marcus morris but unfortunately even if it were the case for westbrook, i mean with 20 games left you're just playing with fire.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. The role players have to step up.
And Lue. He's killing us.

Now when I think about it, Ty's approach of gaining a respectable sample size before making roster changes is neurotic AF.

*Something doesn't seem to be working
*He doesn't know if it isn't, in a strong sense
*continues to play the combo irrespective of results

Also, just tracing the strat out logically, it wouldn't help him find a working combo, either. Say he plays some combination of starters for 10 games, and they initially stink together. He rides with that lineup for 10 games and eventually they develop some chemistry and improve. What is he going to do now? Stop playing them together and regress by starting over with a new lineup? Or will he keep playing the same lineup because it appears to now be working? The approach is madness.

Yeah. Lue can’t be serious with these answers.
