Thanks for sharing. Feel the exact same way when I look at Walker vs Hendricks. Idk how Walker gets so much more hype when he looks like a better Isaiah Stewart

I get that saying Jarace Walker is a 'better Isaiah Stewart' is funny because he might look physically similar to him, but what is with the comp? Is it based on actually watching Walker play? Walker shoots threes and passes the ball like a point-forward. Stewart is a C and strictly guards only that position. Walker is closer to Paul Millsap.

Also a bit lost in this Walker versus Hendricks thing is Hendricks plays 35 mins, while Walker only plays 27 mins. Walker does a lot in his limited minutes on a 27-2 team. While Hendricks plays on a 16-12 team that I don't think is even ranked.

If we look at 36 minute stats Walker would have advantages in rebounds, steals, and assists and DBPM. Walker also has about 10-15 lbs which allows him to be a small ball C. Hendricks is nice but he is a SF/PF at the next level.

Okay I was hyperbolic with the Isaiah Stewart comp

I don't believe the shooting. Hes a 60%FT shooter and is in the mid 30's from 3 with low volume. Hendricks beats him in every efficiency metric and his real shooting ability can make him viable on any lineup. Hendricks is also a better lateral defender even if he's smaller in weight and strength.

Houston has obviously better talent than UCF, but in their matchups Hendricks has been able to contain Wallace whereas Hendricks had good games and even blew by Wallace once in their head to head. He also outplayed Wallace in both games

He is a solid passer and an amazing switch defender but I don't see him anchoring a defense as a small 5. Just don't think thats worth taking over Hendricks even if they're different positions. Just from a BPA perspective

Thank you!

Well Dick, Black, Smith, JHS alll looked bad. TJD still looked good.

Hmmmm, found a new player I think is interesting. Marquette is ranked 6th. Tyler Kolek has an A/T of over 3 and at 6'3 shoots a nice 48/38/82.

He's a junior, should probably go back for his senior year and put up a back to back good season. He might be a decent backup PG.

Colby Jones and Souley Boum (undrafted 5 year senior potential) in action tonight. Boum lead CUSA in scoring last season as a senior. This season he's become more of a distributor, so a 6'3 combo guard off the bench. Dennis Schroder 2.0?

I like what I've seen from him and his stats!

Guys like Gradey Dick and Jett Howard are ranked much higher in most mock drafts, but I think this guy might have more "translatable" skills.

Shoots a really good percentage, seems to be a very strong dude, good switchable defender.

In my opinion he has that OG type of potential. Shoot threes, don't handle the ball too much, play hard defence and dunk on some dudes.

Hendricks should probably go top 5. Easy to fit on any team.

He can also see how he’d fit in with teams headed to the lottery. He studies the young players Houston has, just in case. Same with San Antonio, just in case. He talks about how he’d fit alongside Scottie Barnes in Toronto. And he wouldn’t mind being on a team someday with someone he considers an elite point guard, like Chris Paul or Ja Morant.

Teams with two point guards, he wonders, might be the future.

“Dual backcourt would be crazy,” Henderson said. “Explosive and smart backcourts are cool to me.”

He’s athletic. He’s a thinker. And whether he gets picked No. 1 or No. 2 or No. 60, Henderson is certain that he’ll help some team next season.

“I’m ready,” he said. “I know I’m ready.”

I mean if Hendricks was drafted at #4, I wouldn't say it was a horrible reach. I hope he stays in the teens. In the late teens, hoping for Hendricks and backup is Cissoko.

This season went worst case scenario for me as a Raps fan lol....Winning meaningless games against bad teams and losing against the good teams being a total pretender and missing out on a good enough draft pick to get a impactfull player...Turrible

This is a weak draft IMO after the top 3

Very likely we get the same level guy at 16. Betting on the lottery frm the 6-8 spot isn't work it IMO

I stopped watching after he had Nick Smith #5 and said like many others that he has a great floater.

Said the same thing about last years draft where we moved down 10 spots and ended up with Koloko instead of Kessler lol...

Thats not the point i would rather be in the Wemby sweepstakes with being at like 5-6 in the draft with a pretty good chance to slide into the top 2 rather then winning meaningless games when we all know we will be bounced maybe in the play in game or the first round lol...

I can't help but like this freak of nature: Connor Vanover is 7'5 and moves around the court smoothly. He hits 3s at 34% and blocks 3 a game. I consider him a Budget Wemby. Is this guy even on draft boards? Should he be?

5th year transfer to the weak Summit conference. 7'3, I guess a later blooming Shawn Bradley.
