It will be a buyers market next year. Clippers are going to have to make a decision. They have the most expensive roster and the signing of WB was a desperation move. I can see a roster shakedown. Hawks, Mavs, even Heat are skating on thin ice. All it would take is a star wanting out. Lillard or Beal could also seek new pastures despite their stoic statements (not that we want Beal). GSW could come to terms with their aging stars and let one go, less likely but you never know. Lakers are cooked, AD could be on the block. The possibilities will be there.

Lillard literally just had an ESPN piece saying he wants to win in Portland & is willing to die on this hill. He’s not going anywhere.

But I think the Clips crew, KAT, the Heat, Raptors, etc could all be looking for a trade in the not too distant future.

I could only imagine a healthy Kawhi on this team. Perfect fit. PG13, Derozan, Ingram, Siakem, or Butler would also wreak havoc. If AD could stay healthy he could be a chip ticket. That’s a big if though. When you look at the Clippers the thing they are missing that would catapult them is a player like Harden. On the flip side, we are missing one of their star wings.
