I bet DA benefits most - on both ends. KD can go over defenders to put the ball in DA's chest. And for the first time in his career, DA will have another rim protector behind him to help. Maybe he can gamble a bit more with closeouts and block some shots.
But the truth is, everyone's going to be better with KD on the court.
I think people's efficiency should go up (though Ayton has been hovering in the high 60s, 70s and occasionally 80s FG% lately anyway, but there will be fewer points for each starter to come by.
If KD is scoring 30ppg and Booker 25, that doesn't leave too many more points. You figure CP3 gets 10 and the other open 3pt shooter 10...that's already around 75 from the other starters and our bench usually gets 30 or so.
I don't think Book will let his PPG or shots go down too much, so it will be interesting who it impacts the most from a scoring standpoint. I wouldn't be surprised if Ayton, who has been averaging something like 23 as of late, ends up more along the lines of 15 ppg even though he may be even more efficient. Book will actually probably have a slight drop too, despite probably being more efficient, and KD as well with more elite scoring weapons on the Suns.
