Giannis averaged 7 PPG 4 RPG and shot 41% his rookie year on a team that went 15-67

Paolo will easily be better on defense than 2 of his common comparisons: Carmelo & Blake Griffin

He's a rookie. He's been alot better than we all expected and I'd say its fair to say he'll be a plus on the defensive side of the ball in his prime.

Giannis is another level though, he'll be one of the best defensive players of all time when its all said & done. That block he had in the Finals was Bron-esque

I wasn’t criticising Paolo or saying he’s a disappointment. I was just pointing out that he has some growing to do before he hits his prime.

For sure, that's pretty exciting to think about. Defensively a starting 5 with Suggs, Franz, Paolo should be top 5 with the right personel

I mean this was bound to happen against this team. They just need to coke out strong this weekend against the hornets and blazers.

WeHam needs to focus solely on adding 3pt shooting to this team in the off-season.

In a *completely* unrelated note, Markelle Fultz made his season debut on… *checks notes* November 30th.

And? Does that dispute that Paolo will have to grow into a more complete player for the team to become contenders? Is there nothing he can learn from Giannis? Every great player goes through it - they focus on their offense to begin with and when they get serious about being a contender they round out their game.

I expected the Magic to win tonight. Bucks struggled last night and are bound to lose.

Team has that demoralized feeling to them. Happens when you are against an elite team on a 15 game win steak.
