And they always will play like that. Bridges is a winner, he won the National title in college and won in high school and was big reason in turning the Suns around from laughing stock to contenders. Cam Johnson same thing, he helped Suns go to the finals in just his rookie season off the bench.

Both guys have pedigree and their gonna always play hard.

As crazy as this sounds , because I always root for Brooklyn, Bridges and CamJ deserve better than this cluster f#ck of a franchise we become

We are going to get crushed on national tv by the Celtics on Friday. Afterwards we have winnable games coming up next week…

Marks just needs to go. He ran this franchise to the ground.

The Kyrie trade was just beyond dumb. Anyone with common sense knew that once his girlfriend wanted out, Durant would run away. Like he always does.

He should have extracted the Lakers picks. Dinwiddie/DFS are useless.

I would way rather just play Sumner, Cam, Yuta, Duke etc than see this garbage team. Which sucks.

While I was somewhat on the fence of firing Marks, this contract extension pushed me over to firing him

I lost faith in Marks

How da fuq does a team look so poor after the break after you got an extension?

Vaughn played them for fools. JV has no business as the main guy.

I was good with Vaughn staying till the end of the season and only then his coaching supposed to be judged and correct assessment should be made

Giving him this extension till 2027 is insanity, I know it doesn’t count against the cap and he could be fired anytime , but still what a stupid decision

I'm not sure how Tsai can justify running things back with Marks and this front office. He didn't even hire the guy

He has to see the vitriol (well deserved) of the fanbase right now. Everything he posts on Twitter is bombarded by people attacking him. Others are openly wishing death on him. Nets games are getting removed from national TV en masse. I'm sure many people are canceling their season tickets. The building will be empty next year. He can't be blind to the financial hit he has taken with this team. They became irrelevant overnight.

Surely there needs to be a scapegoat for all of this and we know he won't sell the team any time soon so who is it going to be?

Exactly!!!

He's already signed through next season

Meanwhile we don't go after Snyder (if interested) and extend someone who hasn't proven ish n now responds to his extension with consecutive poor ball performance

Yea IDK what Nets were thinking with that extension smh but since he's here he might as well coach next year since we don't championship aspirations yet. Maybe in 2025 we bring someone else in that can help us contend hopefully. And to be fair, Jazz fans didn't really like Snyder

What's worse is you have to justify this trade by playing both, instead of developing/extract something from the youngsters.

Claud wrote:I'd rather deal with Kyrie missing 50% of games, but still get to watch KD ball.

This current team is full blown 12 win season rebuild. They are awful.

To make things worse, they extended JV when there was no need to do that. He's an average coach at best. Basically our modern version of Lionel Hollins. Full circle friends.

Watching Din dribble the ball for 22 secs is bad for my health. It really feels like reliving a nightmare.

I try not to think about it, but I feel the same way or worse about no longer seeing KD.

I don't think we are as bad as we've been playing, but I am beginning to worry. And I cannot understand the weird fluctuations in our defense from game to game thus far. I think we have a decent foundation for a quick rebuild with all the picks we have added. But at my age, I'm really not into that "wait until next year" crap. I was really hoping for a better finish this year.

As far as the JV re-signing, I'm not worried. I think he is pretty good, but if not I'm sure it will be financially easy to "eat" his contract. It probably would cost much less than buying out a player.

One minor disagreement, because it is my pet peeve and IMO there has been so much misrepresentation. Would you believe (per NBA.com) that Dinwiddie is averaging 4.88 on average dribbles per touch? That is 15th in a league with thirty teams. He's been slightly higher since he has been here. In his last 7 games it was 5.02, 17th in the league for that period.

His average time of possession has been 5.8 seconds, 22d in the league. It has been higher with us, 6.5 seconds, 13th in the league.

His seconds per touch have been 5.42, 15th in the league, and 5.67 with us, 11th in the seven games.

I suppose some could want better, but to me he appears kind of middle of the road for point guards. But even if we get a star replacement, he is a good combo guard and would still be valuable. I like the guy, and think he is somewhere in the top three (or four) of our current players.

Haven't bothered watching the last few games as we're obviously tanking

Thing that I don't understand is why they extended Jacque in the midst of it

Thanks fam. You guys have been classy about this whole thing and you deserve the success that the Knicks are having after all of those years.

But to your point, I have to say nah...Bezos is garbage and can rot in DC. Steve Cohen, the owner of the Mets, is the guy that needs to buy this team.

I appreciate you being respectful and professional; one of your users over there is trolling And1s in here KnicksGadfly will be warned soon enough and I will report him if he does not stop that. As far as the game goes, Knicks are simply clicking on all cylinders and Hart has helped immensely. It's crazy how Marks/Tsai cannot take note that sometimes all you need is ONE PIECE to turn a season around or get to that next level. Best of luck in the playoffs. I have no desire to see this Nets team in the playoffs, we should just try and improve our chances at a lottery pick.
