This team went from lesser than the sum of its parts to greater than the sum of its parts in year 2023.

They banded together without Mitch and held the fort down. Now he's back and balling and picking up the team another notch.

Enter the galvanizer Josh Hart who has injected extra life into this team with his hustle and energy and balls to the wall plays, picking up the team yet another notch. Everyone on the team looks better with his arrival.

This is easily the most fun as a Knicks fan since Linsanity, and probably beyond that, because this team is legit in a way I never believed that team was.

Because that team was maxed out. This team has additional draft capital plus more importantly young players still blossoming already on the roster going forward

The real enjoyable part is they are situated to continue to add to this team. They have draft picks, and trade assets, and even an expiring contract to just attach picks too. If this team gets to the second round they can continue to add to it. It’s just fantastic cap & asset management.
