Espn should be embarrassed, fire perk and reevaluate how they cover sports. Of course they will do none of that.

How can you call it stat padding when you passing first in a league full of easy scoring and WINNING. It’s something odd and specific- but it’s not stat padding. Maybe it’s playing winning ball?
The guy has lost the plot. His latest video he’s just posted insinuates Jokic is MVP because he’s white…
He is white and he is the MVP - being white doesn’t help or hurt Jokics case - the mvp race is or should be meritocracy - if Perk indeed implied this I will be officially putting him on ignore until he apologizes to the world for perpetuating BS that we don’t need and Jokic directly for being a sucka

Hmmm you doing laundry or something? I think you separating them by the wrong metrics lol
Jokic is like
Westbrook w/triple doubles
CP3 w/assist that lead to winning
Curry w/ high FG% from everywhere
And I’ll back off Wilt cause Jokic ain’t scoring as much anymore- so I’ll say Duncan cause he just fundamental
Giannis is kinda one of a kind - like young skinny shaq or all star game shaq cause he bringing the ball up and shooting 3s - and KG cause he playing defense everywhere and KG and MJ cause he will say some disrespectful crap about an opponent and doesn’t care cause he wants to destroy him anyway!
Either way… it’s alllllllll good lol
LOL assists from Sabonis, Bird and Walton were winning plays. I'm sure you've seen Jokic baseball pass it off a rebound for a leak-out layup. Watch tape of 1986 Bird/Walton on offense. He even has a version of Bird's behind-the-ear shot with even more arc. Matter of fact he's like the Serbian version of Larry Bird with the slow-mo trash-talk and sarcastic humor.
And, uh, yeah. Laundry. Grey Goose detergent with lime-wedge softener
I don’t see any Bird - maybe bird with 3 MVPs in a row - bird was Lebron with much better shot - and was as mean!
Either way - jokic get two or more rings and he definitely gonna be pushing some cats out the top 20 if not the top 10

The Sixers are 9-4 without Embiid this season.
The Bucks are 7-5 without Giannis this season (It's actually better than that because he had a couple of games where he only played like 6 minutes and the Bucks still won).
The Nuggets are 3-5 without Jokic this season.

Then again, I assume the RealGMers who put down Jokic’s greatness are doing so for racist reasons too.
Man don’t go there - there are people that disagree with us on Jokic being the MVP but you can’t call them racist without them saying something racist.
It’s plausible that someone is wrong about jokic and also NOT RACIST… lol
My belief is the RealGM posters that don’t think Jokic deserves his 3rd mvp in a row don’t watch basketball or are Embiids relatives

Among the Sixers, Bucks, and Nuggets:
The Sixers have been the healthiest team, followed by the Bucks, followed by the Nuggets. In fact, the Sixers have actually been the third healthiest team this season overall (behind only the Kings and Knicks).

If anything the higher ups are going to call Perk into their offices to praise him. I mean we got multiple pages with multiple links to videos about Perk on here. ESPN has been able to milk this for a ton of clicks and views.
Perk is excelling at his job as of late, there is no denying this.

This will be Embiid's 13th missed game of the season.
76ers are 9w/4l during that 13 game stretch, that winning rate is even better than their games with Embiid... A luxury to have to keep you afloat as a MVP candidate record wise until you look deeper

But they should reprimand him or possibly suspend or term him if he implies race is the reason for the 3rd MVP

Where are Luka dame and Mitchell?
If there was another poll…
The oft injured MVP would either be AD, KD or Curry with Zion in 4th and Kawhi in 5th

A bit of a difference though between Jeff Green missing games and Middleton missing games.

While, they can continue secretly having Middleton off the bench (starting 7 out of 20 as of now), and their big 4 would keep the 4 game starting record for the next few years...

Tbh, usually max kellerman would be the better person to take this kind of job instead of Perk

But why? If we look at the ESPN YouTube page, the video of Perk saying the things he said is the most popular video for ESPN since its been uploaded. If you look at First Takes Twitter page, what has been the tweet with the most interaction over the last couple days? Its Perk talking Jokic. Then you add on the JJ videos, the RJ videos all responding to that.
Perk is doing exactly what he's being paid to do. ESPN isnt doing some morality trip or anything, they dont care if the race card gets pulled. They want clicks and views and Perk is doing a hell of a job with that when it comes to the MVP race, he's doing a better job than anyone else at ESPN.
He's not going to get reprimanded or suspended for this. If anything he's only going to get rewarded with more airtime. Perk is hitting a homerun at his job right now.
I also want to be clear, I think this whole thing is stupid. This is why I stopped watching ESPN a long long time ago. ESPN is just TMZ sports though. I think its a stupid and garbage point that Perk is making, but people are eating it up, so good on him.

Those are noisy stats that are charted. It doesn’t differentiate enough the quality of injured players. Having your 12th injured is not same as having your 3rd best player injured. Btw Middleton is the bucks third best player
