It felt like the Lakers got an officiating boost down the stretch. Schroeder was getting superstar calls and the refs had a quick whistle on loose ball situations against the Thunder.
The Thunder got 3 bull calls on the most textbook verticality plays by the Lakers (not even the slightest horizontal movement), plus a ticky-tack and-1 on Schroder over Dort. Then another loose ball foul on Schroder during a tie up that literally happens every game, despite Troy Brown being fouled initially to even start that sequence.
Every time the Lakers win this dumbass narrative gets fired up. The poor shooting 3pt team with high FGA-at-the-rim team is apparently not allowed to be a league leader in free throws, if they play in Los Angeles and wear a Nike banana yellow jersey.
@MoneyTalks, your team literally **** fouled on purpose in three possessions. That's 6 free throws right there.
