Why is it becoming more of a reality? No way Philly makes that trade without picks, etc. And I don't think they would trade him to an Eastern contender. More of a reality that Embiid will actually be available now that Harden probably leaves.

As far as appeasing the Sixer's demands...Is any team offering a better player than Bam?

I’d do Bam for Embiid in a heartbeat but Philly would be idiots. You’re talking about a bonafied superstar for a fringe all star.

It is more likely that if a trade happens with Philly it’ll be us sending Jimmy. Compared to our roster, they have a lot more to offer to give that tandem a championship team. Embiid asking out to come here would be hustling backwards at this point.

What could we realistically get for Jimmy though? Do Sixers even have any picks or did they give them al up to get Harden?

I don't think many teams can beat a Bam package for Embiid lol. Bam is an all star center guys. As for the in conference trades worry, it does happen. Philly helped us with Jimbo, Philly and BKN traded with each other (Harden and Ben), Pelicans gave AD to the Lakers, etc.

Butler's new extension kicks in starting at 45 million for 3 more years, what's really interesting is that Herro and Robinson combined will be making basically the same money as Butler for the next 3 years.

Next year Miami is projected over the tax with 5-6 more players to add to the roster and that's without Vincent, Strus or Yurtseven being signed. The FO has really put themselves in a corner.

Also, if they want to shed money this summer(instead of this trade deadline by acquiring expirings), they have to trade into someone's capspace or they're going to have to take back worse players who make a few million less then what Miami is giving up or they're going to throw away more draft assets for bad contract decisions they've made. It's going to be a very interesting offseason no matter what.
