1. i am elated. cloud 9. i can't believe this my life, etc

2. not to beat a dead horse, but if i was coaching rj, i'd just never stop reminding him that when he is dribbling into traffic he should be looking for an open man. no floaters, no barreling into multiple defenders. just use your ability to get inside to open somebody else up and get them the ball, and then if the defense leaves behind an opportunity, use your strength to attack it. the class of players that can force the issue successfully is extremely small. randle, as well as he has been playing, has never seen success from forcing the issue (not saying he's never finished a tough play, but that he's had to play smarter on a regular basis to achieve consistent success). it's hard to watch 85-90% of players take on multiple defenders with their head down. we can all have different opinions about what rj's talent ceiling is, but shouldn't we all be able to agree that his isn't the style of basketball we want to see our guys playing? i like the other things he's doing successfully (assisted 3's and lobs to mitch) he just needs to cut out the tunnel vision nonsense to be a nice cog in the offense

3.with mitch coming back even better and grimes teasing a bounce back to the mean from 3...we really might be peaking right on time for the postseason.......

completely meaningless. they folded.

And I’m overjoyed that they did but honestly I would have liked to see us take on and overcome that challenge. I mean it’s great stomping this version of the nets but the competitor in me would have liked to see us get to the point where we beat that prior version of the team

I don’t even enjoy talking crap to them now that they’re back to irrelevancy

I do...but I'm petty like that

Leon lucked into that shyt. Please. :noway:

He wisely traded the Knicks own pick instead of the Dallas and Wizards pick. Knicks FO betting on themselves before the trade deadline.

This was really smart. I was unhappy with reading it pick at first. You know, no Knicks fan would bet on ourselves. At least not until very recently.

From playoff team to pretender. Maybe one day contender with some organic growth and more consistency from the wings

It’s like we’ve been building a home brick by brick. Each piece adds just a lil bit but the sum of all is greater than the whole.

I’m building a house in Ghana right now so my HGTV rhetoric is strong.
Tell me more about this process. I would like to do the same.

Ok so did Mitch outperform Claxton?
Yes I would say so , mr dollar bills said he isn’t same player after the deadline but across the league had widely been regarded as ‘better than Mitch’.
Mitch being apart of an elite starting lineup and a top producing team on BOTH sides of the ball gives him a competitive advantage.

It’s been said THIS is his best streak as a player. Last 3 matchups VAl, RW3, Claxton are all highly respected players and I think Mitch earned a clean sweep .

This is trending in the right direction. If the team can maintain the offensive efficiency they had when he was OUT, the Knicks should continue to play at this powerhouse level.
