From playoff team to pretender. Maybe one day contender with some organic growth and more consistency from the wings

It’s like we’ve been building a home brick by brick. Each piece adds just a lil bit but the sum of all is greater than the whole.

I’m building a house in Ghana right now so my HGTV rhetoric is strong.
Tell me more about this process. I would like to do the same.

I think it's time for the Tom Thibodeau bashers to start eating crow

And if he doesn’t he should be fired ?
Would anybody in their right mind fire him right now?
No.
So why was everybody saying that ?

If we get swept in the first round or win just one game yes I would say fire him. You’re not going to be above reproach as a HC because of some winning streaks. As a fan base we should have higher standards.

If we lose a hard fought 7 games series and it’s clear that the difference in talent and not coaching cost us the series. Of course don’t fire him.

Now am I actively calling for him to be fired in spite of their recent success? No

Do I think this recent success is an accurate barometer of Thibs as a long term coach? No

He wisely traded the Knicks own pick instead of the Dallas and Wizards pick. Knicks FO betting on themselves before the trade deadline.

This was really smart. I was unhappy with reading it pick at first. You know, no Knicks fan would bet on ourselves. At least not until very recently.

But was it really that smart? We were trending up and Dallas was trending down. Or were there other considerations that went into making that decision?

Too early to tell.

Team is clicking but Thibs is still being Thibs and is leaving the starters in the game during a blowout. Would be nice to have the team be fresh going into the Playoffs and not hobbling to the finish line. Brunson limping on the court wasn't a good look. His offensive output wasn't nearly the same after the 2nd quarter.

That had more to do with BK sending doubles every time he came up the floor.

Only Brunson and Randle played 30+ min today, so I’m not mad at it. He’s sticking to his rotations right now and has a lot of depth to work with. As long as players aren’t out there 40+ min like in the 20-21 season, this should be fine.

I can't lie. I was mad as fuq when KD/Kyrie went there. Then they got Harden. I was scared they would win a title with that team.

It slowly fell apart before it ever got a chance ace to happen. Then it exploded. It's over. No more shyt talking about us not being cool and the Nets taking over New York. Blah blah BULLSHYT!! Oh...and don't think people forgot some turncoats who went over to the Nets! Spike/Rappaport etc etc sham!!

Feels good to be playing and winning meaningful games this late in the year is great. Beating BOS/BKN etc is even better.

MIA is due for a beating from us too!!!

This is the new exciting part of the Knicks.
The apparently out from nowhere elite offense .
They are playing better than league best as you can see , and it’s seems to be sustainable .

Grimes Deuce Sims enter the lineup on the 4th? We got beat down by Dallas 12/3. We were 10-13.

Who are the 6 guards in front of Jalen Brunson for All-NBA?

There aren't any. He's the best guard in the league.
