The current product of the NBA annoys me but we have to adapt this roster in order to compete. The lack of shooting and spacing leaves us with such little margin of error.
Yea i would like to say that I, personally HATE this current state of nba.
Lazy defense, or no defense at all and 3 point barage.
I think the next team that builds the next dynasty will be a defensive powerhouse and evolve the game by slowing it down again and taking away the perimeter shot.
It's very hard to slow up the pace when other teams just play like it's pickup game, inbound ball, at first pass they are crossing half court in next 3 seconds they are shooting.
In addition nba officiating in favor of offensive players is complete joke to make it possible for teams to defend. People walk, double dribble, carry ball at every angle, make "eurostep" that is cute name for quadra step ... It's just bad. I'm not crying for Spurs- Pistons 2007 to return, but some balance would be nice.
if you have 30 min of spare time to watch, i recommend it. Majority of things that were offensive fouls in basketball ( like initiating contact with shoulder in chest) are no longer offensive fouls, matter of fact ,you can be called for defensive foul if you push person with chest.... And how off ball hand now allows offensive player to sweep defender without being called for foul ( something GIannis does at almost every layup ) . Basically, rules are stacked in such a favor for offensive players that it's no suprise that near every single average player is now 18-20 ppg player.
