Keith Van Horn wrote:I suppose I'm fine with the JV extension, but I think it could have waited until the end of the season. I'll be watching things a little more closely from a "coach's" perspective... like his rotations, defensive schemes, play calling/timeouts... because to be honest things seemed just alright with him.

You guys talking about Kenny Atkinson too and his career since he left... wasn't he offered the Hornets head job and it was a done deal? And then last minute he decided to stay put in Golden State and not uproot his family and all? Just throwing that out there.

He rubbed me wrong way with his post games interviews, instead of saying this is new team , it’s work in progress he continued to mumble about how tough is to incorporate Ben into the lineup , and this kind of talk I heard on minimum two occasions, you don’t do this kind of **** as a HC , if he have to bash the player do this behind closed doors , I’m not saying Ben doesn’t deserve it , just don’t do this in front of the cameras

Yes Atkinson last minute withdraw himself from Hornets HC job , for family reasons and it’s fine , good decision for him

I think JV is doing right by Cam by keeping him grounded. Yeah, we know he can score but he has so much more room to grow.

Exactly if Vaughn let him stay like this he'll just be 25pt but that's it. He wants to groom him into a 25/5/5 type player. Just like his fav player kobe,if cam wants to reach that level he has to become more of a complete player.

Yea Vaughn is avg coach at best, when we had all that talent it was okay. Now that we dont his getting exposed. Cant fire him be to much of a bad look but we got to bring Udoka in as an assistant( really a co-coach). Then let him takeover in 2 or yrs

vaughn so far has not done a good job integrating all the pieces. not going to make it out like that should have been easy, but it shouldnt be this hard to play decent defense with all the defenders they have. the switch everything may need to be scrapped.

Vaughn is good enough tank commander.

Hopefully we can land a top 10 pick.

I like Clax and Bridges and that's about it on the current roster.

Would not mind Cam Johnson back at a good deal. High level 3&D player.

Extension is looking brutal right now.

Decisions made out of spite rarely end well.

Nets sign Vaughn to multi-year extension

I let all of you have hot takes and how has it worked thus far? He sucks. You want to wait for the 1st round sweep to confirm it huh? Lol

He’s an upgrade from Nash which confirms Nash was a TERRIBLE MISTAKE. It doesn’t make Vaughan a good coach. He still operates the team like a tank squad.
