Got roasted on a certain podcast for saying Kuz is fools gold and paying him over 20/yr is a mistake. Wish I could screenshot videos and say "I told you so" later on, but Wizards fans outside of this board are so incredibly stupid its amazing. PIF I wish you were there to protect me!!

Gafford/Porzingis/Wright were all great. Goodwin and Kispert also had good games.

I’ll go Gafford

Pretty close between Gafford and Porzingis, but Porzingis had 4 TOs compared to 0 by Gafford, so I'll take Landlord.

Nobody stuck out to me as having a bad game except Beal. Kuzma still takes too many shoots, but got us off to the great start, and I liked mostly everything Deni did while once again leading the team in rebounds and playing his typical stout, heady defense, except for that fact he couldn't get shots to fall in the second half. Delon Wright was a stat stuffer with 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals and Kispert had a really solid game with a team best +19.

All around, good team win. Team thoroughly outplayed Toronto who had been playing really well coming into this game with the exception of that stretch midway through the first letting Toronto go on an 18-2 run.

Winning again Saturday would be a really positive sign going into that Milwaukee game.

Yep, will give it to Gaff. Though others (Delon, Porzinga) are also deserving.

Very happy with Gaff’s development. It seems his extension was on point.

I really, really wish we had traded Morris at the deadline. He definitely a decent player… but I like the combo of Wright/Goodie better. Constant on ball pressure from our PG disrupts opponents’ sets.

Plus, the way Morris was playing surely meant he had some trade value. If GP 3 could fetch, what, 5 seconds, couldn’t we have gotten a couple for Monte?

Oh, btw, POTG was a close call. Kuz was unreal early. Gaff was a force all game. But I’m giving my vote to Goodwin the Disrupter!

His fouling, by the eye test, seems to have really come under control over the last month or so. Haven't looked at the stats, but it's a big help when he's not in constant foul trouble. He can play more aggressively.
