Peak DPOY Draymond was a sharp 39% 3pt shooter; Bowen was a career ~40% so maybe promote him to replace Ben and use Westbrook the MVP way

A team like that should have the suicide help hotline on its jerseys as a courtesy to the fans.

They would get mopped off the floor in the current NBA.

I suppose they can have a 1st round upset, but as nasty on defense as they are, they really lack offense.

The rules and officiating today are too slanted to offense. Players regularly get away with trucking through the lane and through defenders, taking 5 steps, blatant carries, etc. The difference between a B+ defense and an A+ defense is far smaller today as in past eras. This team doesn't have nearly enough offense and too much duplicative skillsets. Summons/Westbrook/Draymond all fulfill the same role and offball they have pretty much 0 value. Rodman/Wallace are also duplicative. You only have 1 dunker spot.

Not only are rules slanted to offense, just about every rotation level player can shoot and every team is rolling out 3-4 shooters in a line-up [often times 5 shooters]. Having a line-up with 2 non-shooters in the current NBA is detrimental, regardless of how good you are offensively.
I think most defenses today are better in a vacuum than previous eras--the strategies are more advanced and optimized, the amount of time spent practicing defending certain sets are at an all-time high level but when you go 5-out, and with the amount of talent the league has, it's simply impossible to stop teams.
