SloNick Russia wrote:If the tear is high on the adductor tendon, recovery can be significantly slower and take approximately 12-16 weeks. A tear to the mid-belly of the muscle will typically take between 4 and 12 weeks to heal depending on the severity of the tear. In rare circumstances, you may require crutches to assist your walking.

Stay positive, he will be ready for the start of the next season.

When Isaac came back and played well, some of you with your nasty comments prior were completely silent. You can continue to be.

This.

idgaf about JI, nor do I "feel bad" for a dude that as made generational wealth watching from the bench for the majority of his career. I'm a fan of the Magic first and foremost.

Trade this guy so Orlando can spend his money on people that play basketball.

Oh yeah, and mark Isaac as a L for the FO in the win/loss column for their ability to draft players. Ship has sailed.

He had 1 more shot at proving he wasn't competing with Anthony Davis for the "most made out of glass" award. He won.

Who would trade for him though? We may as well ride it out one more year since the following year we can fully move off the contract.

I thought I saw him grab his groin area. Not a big injury.

I don’t get the point of waiting until January 2024. Just cut him and move on. Free up the $9 mil in cap space and use it on someone else. Enough already. This is beyond absurd.

At $17.4m getting any positive asset is better than waiting for him to play 10 inconsequential games.

It’s an inner thigh injury, so not a career ender much to the dismay of some. Could probably move on still and get some value back. One of those guys that could go to another team and be really good in a year. Or keep him which doesn’t hurt anything.

It's a glorified groin injury. I think they'll definitely give him until January 10, 2024, to prove himself. My guess is that we're going to be really good around that time, and he won't be traded.

I am a fan of JI. But i am thinking on the perspective of a bigger issue, the salary cap. Could we afford paying JI 17M next season?

So disappointing to see this young man’s career wrecked by injury.

I was the last fan to give up on Greg Oden so I know how this feels.
