I still don't under why they traded Reggie Jackson. It's not like he's really been struggling shooting 30% and committing 7 turnovers per game.

But he kill the spacing and his defense is very poor

so Russ is not killing the spacing for the Clips? And his defense is better?

Sorry to not be clear since I was talking about Westbrook....I actually misread your previous post, sorry!

Nobody thinks if they cut Russell they are winning the title, but everywhere he goes he makes teams worse. He isn't their only problem, they are probably just above mediocre without him, but he's a massive drag on both ends. He is not a star player, that's the problem. He brings star amount of turnovers and bad shots without all the positives to outweigh them.

Yeah at this point I don't even ever see Royce Young talk about the guy. If there was anyone who you knew wore Westbrook pajamas, it was Royce Young, but even he seems to have abandoned ship awhile ago.

Clips botch the final 15 seconds tonight in Sacramento and the Kings escape 128-127.

Clips fall to 0-5 in the Russ Era.

Clips had forced a miss and had the ball and were advancing it, then they were slow about getting it across the midline in time, they rushed, they got it across and then a panicked Eric Gordon needlessly threw a pass high and out of bounds trying to get the ball to Russ.

Total choke job.

But the Clips were missing three starters and were on a back to back. They showed great heart, and Bob Covington got some run.

Russ was outstanding. 27/2/10 on 12/16 FGA with 5 turnovers and +10 for the game.

What a steal he is. $750,000 contract for a starter who is getting it done.

Clips have much to figure out. Russ is doing his part, time for Lue and others to do theirs.
Luka won the trade & Nico got fired

I really thought WB was shooting well tonight. And then I slowly watched the 127-128. God damn :noway:

Westbrook looks better the less talent he has around him. Which is kind of a problem for being on a good team.

They counted it as Russ' turnover but it shouldnt've been his.

The pass was too high and too fast by Gordon.

The passer is almost always given the turnover. Not sure what the deal was there.

It's a shame. Clips had that game against a strong Kings team. Russ is balling. Rest of the Clips have to catch up.

Really? Can't really judge the velocity but doesn't look too high.

Watching it live I thought it was high.

The Clippers were panicked about getting the ball across half court in the 7 seconds you're allowed. That's how the play ended up so botched.

Russ was the last man in the chain. It never should have come to that, and Gordon panicked.

Pass was fine all things considered and i dont think WB had to overextend himself to get it. He just took his eyes off the ball.

it wasnt a good pass but it went through Westbrooks hands. He could have caught that. they both messed up.

Russ only missed the pass because he was thinking of which strand of pearls he was going to wear after the game.
