Also JJJ has improved massively as an isolation scorer this year, scoring at above league average efficiency in those situations.

If only he didn't have extreme tunnel vision (or any ability to really pass at all) he could be a really valuable offensive weapon, along to go with his DPOY impact on the other end

CJ Mccollum is just so so bad imo man, can't guard anything, is not good enough offensively to demand the salary he commands.

I think the pels made a mistake in cashing in some assets on him

Like the Grizzlies in general, Jaren Jackson is wildly stupid (full of talent, though!). Imagine thinking he's the Defensive Player of the year. Can't stay on the court.

DPOY is Draymond. Regardless of what our defense has wanted to agree with him aside him.

The last 10 games they're starting to listen, and other teams are starting to lose (granted, homestand).

Of course Covington plays like people wanted all season and has a monster impact on both ends. This only happened because Kawhi and Powell are out. Lue literally cost that team 15 wins this year.

It was more giving him the extension is where I disagree with the move. They really didn’t give up much to get him and they did get some playoff experience last year. But ya I wouldn’t have given him an extension. He has the skill set of a super stud 6th man.
