Taken as a whole group, isn't the consensus that this group of WR's is weaker than the last couple of years crops?

Yeah, I'd say it is much weaker at the top, as RS mentioned. You might find some decent depth guys and a few might turn into pro bowl caliber players. As for pass catchers go, I'm more intrigued with the TE group this year. Lots of talent in that pool to choose from and it's got good depth. Tucker Kraft remains my early draft crush, but need to see how he tests. Luke Schoonmaker is interesting as well.

I haven't paid super close attention to draft stuff yet. Is the consensus that this Safety class sucks as does the WR group outside of Quentin Johnson? But the Edge class is really good and the Tight End group is deep?

I like Josh Downs as a gadget/slot guy.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Think safety isnt any worse than normal. Branch is a really good player, but his 40 time was not great.

Sorry I should have clarified, the Safeties by most accounts tested bad correct as did the WRs outside of Johnson?

Ball jumped out of Richardson’s hand in the deep throw drill. Think Rodgers throw to Watson on Week 1.
Just love that the Bears are going to pass on him and trade away the #1 pick. Total choke job if they do. Fields is a good athlete but nowhere near the thrower Richardson is.

So,..... If the Bears were to blink, and select Richardson(or any other QB), who's a buyer for Fields?

As bad as the WR class is, the TE class is that good.

Doesn't Richardson's performance and Young's acceptable measurements make the Bears pick even more a sought after commodity? Stroud looked good too, so do the folks at the head of the list may have more buyers willing to pony up for a QB?

Eh, I don't think the combine matters a ton for QBs.
