There is honestly no reason for him not to get 30.

I wish we had Poku to attempt 20 FGA like he did in some games down the stretch to secure Chet. Literally one of the GOATank commanders of ALL TIME. Looks like we are securing a pick in the 5-10 range right now, and I can say I'm here for it. Package up whatever we have this season and like 3 or 4 seasons worth of picks moving forward and try and trade up a few spots or for a good vet and lets compete next season!

Maybe give Dieng 30 mpg and let him take 10-15 fga.

Game looks so easy for JDub.

I know most of us want a high pick and I'm pissed we likely won't but this team is gonna try to get to the play in and I can't blame them.

Glad to see Wiggins having a great game. No clue how this kid was drafted so late in the 2nd round.

I'm curious to see if Jalen Williams can scale his efficiency with more responsibility and higher USG%. If so and if he develops a reliable 3-pointer, then he can definitely be an all-star.

If he develops a three he'll be one of the best two-way players in the league.

Considering he's a rookie, I think it would be more surprising if he didn't do those things to some extent than if he did.

I don't think there is any question. He doesn't impose himself on the game, but he was abusing Gay. We could've gone to that well all night long if needed. He picks his spots, but he still makes a lot of plays every night.

I think it's more important to have guys that can impact the game without needing the ball force fed to them and he does that. He gets a lot of steals. He had a terrific offensive rebound last night that was all about effort. I didn't think that was going to be part of his game. I loved him before the draft, but I had concerns about his combination of size and athleticism that I believed would limit his upside. His athleticism is just adequate, I think, but he is bigger than I thought he would be and he is using it more than I thought he would. I thought he would be an oversized guard, but he is proving to be far more versatile than that.

I have no doubt that he could be averaging 20 ppg right now on good efficiency if we had the vacuum in our offense to allow it, but I'm kind of glad that we don't. I don't need the validation of accolades to back up my opinion that he is terrific. I'll be perfectly happy if he is our little secret that outsiders don't appreciate for the next few years. I'm just glad we have him.

His shot mecanic looks pretty good to me. There's no reason to think he couldn't shoot 38%+ from three.

I love Giddey but SGA, Chet and JDub are by far the most important players on our team. JDub can take Giddey's role if needed. That's not a knock on Giddey though, I still think he will improve and help us going forward.

I’m much more concerned about Giddey’s defensive limitations than offensive ones.

Regarding Giddey, his fit into this team is just not very good as long as he can't provide reliable defense and a good 3-pointer. Next to Shai we could very well use a secondary playmaker as Giddey ist, but without a good 3-Pointer his game will hurt the team more than help. So I could imagine that he either has to accept a bench-role next season or maybe he will even get traded.

I get the concerns but Giddey is 20 and It's his second year in the NBA. Gotta give him at least one more season before considering a trade or bench role. Shai/Giddey/JDub core is still leading us to a decent record and 10th net rating without a true frontcourt.

It’s a good day to not be a Memphis fan! Ja, Brandon Clarke done for the season, plus Dillon suspended. Yeesh, and all we have to worry about is shai’s dumbass shoe choices.

I'm not concerned at all. I don't believe he is destined to become a bad defender, though it is a possibility. I think he is obviously a better player than he was a year ago. I'm pleased with his development.

Giddey was a steal in the 2021 draft. He will be better and better. High Basketball-IQ.

SGA back tomorrow...wish we had done 10% of Rockets tanking but somehow casual will still think we are the ones doing it.
