Find it interesting, Embiid's scoring way down when the refs aren't blowing the whistle for him. Only two fouls against him makes me think these refs are home-grown

Nope, it is because Brook Lopez is one of the worst matchups for him, kinda like Horford or Gasol were in the past.

Hence why I've always wanted him to develop a regular sky hook a la Kareem to use against bigger and longer centers that he's not going to overpower in the post.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. He needs to stop trying to carry the load on offense and focus more energy on anchoring the defense. Let Harden and Maxey carry the load offensively. It's simply too difficult to effectively run an offense through your big man in today's NBA. Then again, I also blame the coach for letting it happen.
