The Bucks failed to get a bunch of loose balls and rebounds throughout the game. Spotting them 9 points at the start of the 4th was an issue. Giannis made free throws but giving them 5 points down the stretch on that foul and non box out were just a backbreaker.

Guys it was the defense. We scored 130 points on 53/50/90. Bullyball Giannis was efficient scoring in the end.

We lost rebounds, made dumb fouls and send them to the FT line and they made 10-13 tough contested shots at the buzzer to beat our good defense. It happens.

That's a Bucks win 90% of the time.

I hate Philly so much. Just flopping all over the floor and seemingly getting waaaay too many calls.

But the Bucks just stopped playing. Worst defensive 4th I've seen in well over a mo.

On to the next.

Well, I guess we gave the media the excitement to talk about Philly being the real deal. Should be a fun week.

Said it in the game thread...Midds looks like when we re-signed John Salmons and he became cement shoes Salmons and couldn't move anymore. Midds just looks old now and he might never get any quicker/faster given his age/injury history/lack of natural athleticism to begin with. There were a number of plays in the 4th where he made the total right decision/read defensively...but just wasn't close to athletic enough to get position against old Harden.

Giannis just with a classic brain dead Giannis game. I don't know, it's frustrating watching us win the title 2 years ago by literally taking the ball out of GIannis' hands and let him be more of a finish than an initiator, and him still not being able to understand that him playing in that manner helps the team way more than him being a wannabe guard.

The whole team had a massive mental brainfart. Crowder should've played over Khris, honestly.

Gianni started the fourth wonderfully but then fell asleep on crucial plays defensively after getting a couple of cheap whistles. Gotta stay more composed.

The ball stopped moving once Philly got back into the game and the pace slowed to a crawl. We couldn't get a shot for Grayson in the fourth after going nuclear in the third.

Against Embiid and Harden the formula is run them out of the building and play with pace.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Do some more jump hooks or passing or fadeaways from the base line. Anything is better than watching him bull rush people every single time and watch bitches like Embiid curl up like a baby and take a charge.

He sucks at jump hooks, like seriously worst in the league for a big man, so he either needs to work on that shot or pass more often when he doesn’t have a good angle to the restricted area.

It's a good humbling lesson for the bucks. We all got a little hyped this team is going to dominate in the playoffs.

Time to come back down to earth and there are a ton of teaching opportunities in this one.

Yeah I can't knock how good Philly played. Really bewildering how we played Harden in the fourth, though.

No pretty sure I saw him out there in the 3rd I thought?

Regardless, 12 minutes isn't enough. They made such a big deal about getting this guy... well play him then!

We couldn’t stop them from scoring.

Our offense was almost all Giannis who had a tremendous free throw percentage.

But in the 4 th quarter we had no offense except Giannis. That is bad news. Khris missed all shots I think. Allen didn’t get to try almost any shot; his scoring percentage was the highest but yet no shots in the 4 th.

Khris couldn’t stop Harden; they effectively screened Jrue out and prevented him from defending Harden.

Our scoring percentages were better but they had more attempts than us.

I was afraid of a loss today.

They have their own issues but the Sixers are good. A playoff series against them will not be fun.

Giannis' BBIQ seems to turn to mush against Boston and Philly. That's kind of concerning.

Deff should have played Carter and Crowder in the 4th. We couldn't get a stop the whole 4th.

Bud has to be prepared to bench Mids if he can’t cover anyone anymore or shoot 3s. We have other options now.

Yeah I guess he did. Played the final minute of the 3rd and taken out at the 9:00 mark in the 4th, and that was that. Ridiculous.

We needed defense in the 4th, not offense.

I’m probably the biggest Khris fan here, but yeah.

He looked bad.

Can’t even get to his spots anymore or get his shot off against weak defenders & has seemingly taken a backseat to Jrue, who I don’t believe is a better shot maker even with his prowess this year.
