So does that mean he wasn't involved with bad people? I don't understand this point at all.

I also don't get the private school angle. That doesn't mean he's not involved in anything either.

The only clickbait I've seen is him with pictures with his parents growing up which somehow must prove he's a good kid?

My point is - no one knows what he was doing so let's not assume anything.

Can't believe I miss Stern here. Silver is super soft on bad behavior and has been inconsistent in punishing dangerous plays on the court. Melo's comment is a good reminder that all NBA players are basically employees of the NBA corporation.

Silver is focused on ratings. Right now, his stars are taking games off, not caring about the game anymore. If he goes hard on the players he is essentially doing them a favor. His hands are tied because the quality on the floor is on the decline

From memory he had good grades prior to the NBA too. Despite acting like a knucklehead, again from memory, he had a very privileged upbringing.

The association is still investigating. The Grizz punishment is separate and not relevant to its own investigation.

They need to fine this guy millions to send him a message. A month with no pay should be a good lesson. If it takes more, hit him with it. The Grizzlies are in the decent position to actually still be a good team without Morant. So they may have some more leverage than your typical team with a superstar.
