What a collapse this is. Luckily we built up a big enough lead.

Shot selection needs to be better. Drive to the basket and at least you may draw a foul.

Vaughn is really trying hard to lose this team. Bridges and Dinwiddie playing 40 minutes in a game we were up 40. Cam only getting 6 minutes. Claxton getting benched for little mistakes. Seth playing too much.

Hard to feel good about this one. 32 points total in the second half.

Good win. We really got too complacent.

But still a good job overall.

The schedule after the Rockets game is super tough. Needed to win this and then the Rockets game badly.

This is a showing of how good we can be and how bad we can be. A tale of 2 halfs.

The second half was partly complacency and partly because Seth is just a disaster. Watanbe also needs time to get back into a rhythm. It’s still a major work in progress. My hope is by January of next year, we will be a well oiled machine. Who knows who we will add in between then.

That was a scoreboard win that felt like a loss.

Other than Mikal that wasn't much to get excited about. I get the sense that the front office has suddenly shifted gears again to make a playoff run this season on the back of one lucky win over the Celtics, at the cost of player development. JV's rotations can't be explained any other way.

Nice win here. Wins are better than losses!! and I still feel good about the bones of this team. Would've been nice if we stayed full throttle and won by 25, but still learning to play with each other.

But let's read between the lines over the last two games -- we aren't consistent and we need a stabilizing force, ie a super star player to rely on.

Celtics -- massive comeback win, very unlikely to happen again if we resimmed the game 50 times
Hornets -- lost a 35ish point lead and it got down to an almost single digit lead.

I'm happy at the moment and would love to make the playoffs, but the rest of this season is honestly about JV finding himself as a coach with this current makeup, and hopefully learning from his errors. And the rest of the season is about letting Bridges learn to become a star and for the other role players to learn how to play around him.

But we still need that super star stabilizer... a guy that can take over and control a game with each possession. Commands doubles an all that. I hope Marks is ready to go hunting this summer again.

Patience my good friend; not this Summer, try again in two years when a plethora of stars will be available. Luka would be possible if he requested a trade but how likely is that? Also, it always starts off with teams not caving in to demands. Look at us and KD. Same will happen with the next disgruntled atar

Who's summer of 2024? Link?

I suppose I can wait...

I still wouldn't mind sniffing around Young and KAT at the bare minimum...

BUT I will say this -- I've always loved posting here since signing up for this site like 10 years ago. Fun place to celebrate with each other, spitball ideas, plan for the future, go on rants together... but maybe it was the Covid era or maybe it was me being a little distant with the superstars we had (although I still GREATLY miss KD's presence here), I didn't really come around here a lot over the last couple of years. I'm sure others felt this way too.

Now that we're retooling and trying a new approach post superstar era, I'm finding myself more engaged again with wanting to post here and the community. Hopefully its a good sign
