He has been in numerous confrontations on video and never once has “backed away”. Luka started the trash talk last night as video showed, so why are you in your feels about Book?

That's a charge? To me it's just the classic leaning with your shoulder playing bully ball, which I thought people loved because it's more old school... Is that a problem suddenly that guys play aggressive and near the rim? Booker wouldn't have liked Shaq.

Luka missed a bunny, the fact that Booker was calling for charge made absolutely no sense considering the game was over. It would have made sense if Luka made it, but in this case, he was yapping for no reason. The two guys got in each other's face, which people should like considering we've been complaining forever about the buddy-buddy mentality of some NBA players. ut now if they get into each other's face, someone is butthurt?

Why does anyone want to see something negative in that?

The game was not over. Suns up 2 with KD at the line. Unlikely he misses in the clutch but far from over. I get your point and not trying to argue about if its a charge or not but we have seen that called a charge plenty of times before.

The game wasn’t over. How can you object to Book asking for a charge but then act surprised that others are objecting to the trash talk?

The trash talk isn’t a big issue, or it shouldn’t be. It’s two competitors going at it. But the narrative that many were trying to spread ITT about Booker starting it is 100% false.

The only issue I really have is Luka’s postgame comments about this, when he knows he was the one who started the talking by telling DB to STFU.

Not sure if that's worth anything. Booker's had the better team pretty much the entire time AND he got knocked out in the only series of games that actually mattered (including one particular game that was historically bad for his team).

This year Dallas has been better for most of the season, until just recently. The first two years, the Mavs were clearly the better team. So I would say it was pretty much even in who had the better team.

I’ve long had the belief that basketball fans generally have the lowest IQ among fans of all four major sports (NBA, NFL, NHL & MLB) and this type of thing is one of the reasons why.
