I love James Harden, but we missed on acquiring Haliburton. Man that guy is good.

a win is a win. Have to get the first seed if it’s possible. Let bucks and Celtics battle the second round.

Ahhh....remember last year when we were all stanning for Haliburton at last year's trade deadline?

As good as Beard is, I wouldn't have minded that alternate reality....especially after he scored nearly 40 pts on us last year

You beat me to it. Agree 100%. If Haliburton was truly on the table, it's a big long-term miss on our part. With that being said, Harden has been great here! No complaints.

Did what we had to do. Hope we have enough gas in the tank to win in MIN tmrw. Need that one also.

Saltics blowing the game against Cavs! Only 1 game back of Cus Crise in the loss column!!!

It's a tough hill to climb, but it's exactly what needs to happen.

What was the deal with Maxey at the end there? It looked like Sam Cassell was trying to talk him down from going after somebody.

McDaniels with a quiet 20 points tonight. Kid was everywhere.

A couple of fun "what ifs" cascade from that. I wonder in that alternate reality do the Nets eventually figure it out? Also, we would probably be netting assets in a Hali trade. Would we have the ammo to go after KD if the Nets still have a similar implosion?

It will surprise you to know Harden has been a top 5-6 player this season as per analytics.

27-9 since jan 1.

I think Hali also has a different timeline than ours.

Played like one of those good games he had with the Hornets

Saltics have been struggling a bit. I think they are even with the Bucks at this point. There’s no clear dominant team in the East 1-3. Cavs are really good but I don’t put them in the top tier yet. Some would argue that though.

I'm just glad we were able to pull out a win on a night we had to start a guy who just got here a few weeks ago.

Anyways....

Like I said, Start McDaniels and Tucker and bring Tobias off the bench. Also, if Dedmon can actually play, I'd use BBall at PF more.

You need athleticism/defense in the frontcourt in the playoffs, especially if we're starting Harden and Maxey.

I totally agree. Harden helps us win now. Haliburton just looks like a special player. He's a perfect fit with Indiana. Wisconsin kid, went to Iowa State, it makes sense that he builds with the Pacers. I'm just a big fan. Harden....No complaints at all from me.

I always try to find the good in Tobi, but he's definitely best served as a tank commander. McDaniels, despite missing both of his threes, is definitely instinctually better as an off ball forward while Tobi is more effective with the ball in his hands (but not effective enough to be the guy on a winning team).

Celtics lost, we have Minnesota tomorrow. We need a miracle from the Magic to beat the Milwaukee Bucks, but they do have the length and athleticism to do it. We'll see.
I feel like neither Embiid or Harden were going full speed tonight with Minnesota looming. That'll be a big game for us. I have us losing, but this team has surprised me all year.

Good timing to get McDaniels. I expect us to re-sign him to a reasonable deal this summer, prob around the midlevel. Then package Tobi + assets + picks for additional help. Or let him expire after next year to get the bloated payroll under control.

Jalen is the future at forward. Now just needs to lock himself in the gym with Maxey shooting 3's all summer.

If we can trade Tobias without losing Maxey and get a better fitting player it would be awesome.

If Maxey continues his levelled-up play, I don't see us trading him.

Prob looking at something like the recent Westbrook trade where we give up the big expiring and picks for a few good role players.
