We clearly practiced our zone defense a little, but not enough to actually do it well. Our players are all looking at each other and looking out of sorts in general.

it just feels like, earlier in the season for Paolo, attacking the rim and getting layups/dunks or getting to the line was his bread and butter. I don't know if he's tired from playing more basketball than he ever has or he's experimenting with his game to see what can work, but it feels like he's settling for waaaaaay more junky jumpers ever since he had that slump, even if he's had a few slightly better games recently.

This a real contender with players that will fight. Until we level up AND start treating games with the right level of intensity, we're going to look scared against these types of teams.

I don’t mind these types of games, the team need to learn from them, but I do mind the bad basketball plays that are starters are doing. Our bench is just better tonight.
