Ant is keep missing D rotations. He is playing like he is the only guy on the floor. Playing hard but not smart

He initiates contact, the refs gives him whistles. He flops. Poor sport. And he‘s a fake tough guy.

He’s the one athlete I truly hate as a human being. I’ve disliked others in context of rivalry, but he has no redeeming value as a person.

We spent all that trade capital on Gobert and he's not even guarding Embiid when he's on the floor, he's pretending to guard PJ Tucker.
I thought the entire point of the Gobert trade was for players like Embiid that KAT gets destroyed by.

And Embiid puts up 22 in the 3rd quarter to put us away. What an utter failure of a GM and coach.
With no Harden this was a winnable game with any kind of game plan whatsoever for Embiid.
And we're getting blown out and back to playing like garbage on both ends.

Yep. Outside of Ant nobody else showed up. Cold shooting all the way around.

Finch should have played Garza a lot sooner.

Well, outside of Ant, the team shot 22-for-62 (FG 35%), so maybe Gobert shouldn’t get all your blame?

Bad offensive effort. It was like most of the team didn't know how to handle a team playing tough defense against them.

Well that was cold water on the face and a reality check where we REALLY stand in the NBA. Philadelphia was playing their fifth game in seven days on the road and the second night of a back to back and they literally just toyed with us. :banghead:

Ya most of them were in the fetal position for 48 minutes…

Secondly, Embiid coulda fouled in the second quarter … but he didn’t.

What a beat down. I was worried about this game, Philly is no joke and Embiid is playing MVP level basketball. He destroyed us and those guys were hitting a really high clip. The Kings game was great but we were executing at peak level for most of that game, we are not that good yet where we can play like that consistently.

I hope we get there someday, I see teams with 10 game win streaks and the level of quality they have to be playing at to win that many games is just unreal, you have to be making great plays ever single night, hitting big shots, making good passes, etc. We have never been able to achieve that kind of consistency.

Good points.

It looks like Dallas is bad since getting Irving (no shock) Clippers have big names but let’s get real KL and PG are not nearly the players they were 3 years ago vastly overrated trams. Sac is good on one end of the court so we looked good. Philly is a completely different animal. Very smart team, well disciplined, physical and tough. They totally manhandled us.
