Most teams trade out of the draft when they expect to be out of the lottery. I think it would be unprecedented to trade two lottery picks and a high second rounder in one season.

The current front office has never traded a first round pick. The former front office only traded one, Sabonis.

Doesnt it sound like Gradey dick?

No, it s KEVIN HUERTER

Would you be happy with Huerter as your Starting SG?

If Suggs was the player he was projected to be yes,i would be happy with a(smart)+40% sharpshooter.

Taylor Hendricks has been gaining a lot of traction throughout the season and I see him as a lottery level talent with top 10 potential.

Another big riser is UConn guard Jordan Hawkins who looks to be firmly within the top 30 at this point and is creeping towards the lottery.
He’s got a picture perfect jumper, is a constant threat form 3pt range and is also showing a more well rounded game as the season progresses.

why?at today we have a 30% to land a #1 prospect(in last year draft Brandon Miller would go as a contender for number one pick).
we could have not one but two draft picks between 5 and 10,that could be a solid base to build a trade if we want.

even if we decide to keep both picks,we can teoretically miss one of those, still we have the other one to add a competent young player.

it is rare to be in this type of situation in nba, only thing i fear it's the management not making decisions and just coast as they always do.

but if we will be aggressive there are so much space to make the team better

Trading out of the draft for which player?

Indeed!

There is a reason why fans aren't part of the Orlando management system, after all.

You didn't answer to my question!!
You said you preferred outcome would be Orlando trading out of the draft!
Which player would you want in return?

I took t as a rhetoric question, as in "one can wonder what value the Magic can get for these two picks"?

If I was GM, and my above post state clearly that I am glad I am not, I would think hard about something like Okeke and the lower pick for a Kevin Huerter or Luke Kennard. And then use the other pick on Mr. BPA.

I never understood why they traded Sabonis.
He would be so good with Banchero and Wagner.

They wouldn't have if they had seen the future...those two would have been in middle school.

Read on Twitter

Ausar Thompson hit the game winning 3PT for team in the Overtime Elite championship.

Small sample size, but In 5 OTE playoff games he made 15/39 threes (.385) and 14/17 free throws (.824) - both marks way up from his regular season totals.

This is why I m praying to keep the Chicago s pick, I hope they start winning a bit

With the Chi pick, I d draft Hendricks (lite JI with a 3pt shot)

forward rotation set for yrs with Franz+Hendricks+paolo

some night we could have lineups like:

suggs+Franz+Hendricks+paolo+WCJ

fultz+SG+Franz+Hendricks+paolo
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I didn't click on those videos but from what I remember, Hendricks is a poor dribbler. Also, we have have bigger needs.

Return to Orlando Magic
