With the Chi pick, I d draft Hendricks (lite JI with a 3pt shot)

forward rotation set for yrs with Franz+Hendricks+paolo

some night we could have lineups like:

suggs+Franz+Hendricks+paolo+WCJ

fultz+SG+Franz+Hendricks+paolo

I am on board with you

Fultz+George/Dick/Smith+Wagner+Hendricks+ Banchero

Lineup to close games

Tbh I d rather trade for a better SG than George/Dick/Smith

Exactly. Trae Young... Mikal Bridges... Anfernee Simons...

Difficult because other teams would want one of Banchero or Wagner

I may have briefly forgotten that we have DEN’s 2025 1st from the Aaron Gordon deal.

Yeah, we need a SG but I m not sold on any of them in this draft, I d rather draft a stud like Hendricks with our second pick, he reminds me of Jaden McDaniels.

George gives me the Cole Anthony vibes
I don't think dick's ceiling is very high (hope I m wrong)
That leaves us with Smith, is he the bpa when we draft with our pick? I don't think so.

It s always bad to draft for fit when you are in the lottery.

If we were drafting for fit, I d say go for smith+Hendricks

However I'd rather trade for a SG that fits our need

Orl 1st+ assets for a very good SG
Chicago 1st Hendricks

Fultz, suggs, WCJ
SG, Harris , Cole
Franz, Hendricks,bol, Houstan
Paolo, Hendricks, chuma
WCJ, Moe, goga
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe
Wcj, Goga, Moe

And the very good SG's are staying with their teams.
May be you could get someone like Kennard.

There are SG that wouldn't cost us Franz or Paolo

We need a 2 way SG that can shoot 3 and be a 3 option, that can be added using other assets (1 or our 1sr, Cole, den 1st, etc...)

Exactly. Trae Young... Mikal Bridges... Anfernee Simons...

Are these players available?

Draw up some legitimate trades with equal value going out.

Or just press the force trade button.

I bet Simons will be for the right win-now package. The other two, HIGHLY doubtful.

The more I dive into this draft the more I like Hendricks for us. I’m at the point ill be spewing if we don’t draft him. Get him plus a SG, I’ll be happy. I have no doubt Portland will trade Simons for which ever first we don’t use on Hendricks, thing our FO need to work out is if Simons will be a better SG than NSJ/George/Dick. I’d lean on the side of keeping our pick and backing our scouts in. We should use our cap space on a FA like FVV/Trent and keep both picks.

I would start with both of our 1sts and Suggs. If I have to do some combination of DEN 1st, future 1sts, Fultz, Anthony, Okeke, Bol, WCj, then I do it. Between all that, there is enough.

ATL's front office is a hot mess. They got their preferred PG in Murray. They got their new HC. Give them enough assets, and I think they would trade Trae. He's got faults too.

Brooklyn for sure wants to recoup their loss 1st rounders and be able to reboot. Right now they can't lose because they don't own their picks. They are stuck in no man's land.

POR traded McCollum and Simons is just the new version of him. Dame says he wants to stay, but he doesn't like to lose, and they will once again in fantastic fashion as usual. Maybe it would take a multi-team trade to get something done in the offseason. They resigned Simons to not lose the asset for nothing. Now cash in.

Sounds like it really is time to strap in on Taylor Hendricks. He's been one of the best college prospects over the last few weeks. He'd fit in our front court rotation beautifully. Would be interesting to see how it shakes out between him and Bol. A solid replacement for JI.

I personally never wanna see Bol on the court again

Not interested in Simons or Trae because they both suck in D

I love Mikal but he LL be too expensive (I d offer Orl 1st+ Denver 1st+ Cole+ suggs/fuitz for him but I don't think they d bite)

However there are other good SG that would be cheaper to get
Suggs, AB, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, TDS , Jett
Franz, TDS, Panda
P5, JI, Panda, Moe
Wcj, Goga, Moe

How would a trade with us change that? They still would have to give away their own picks, so losing for them wouldnt make any sense, even if they´d get our picks. It´s not like they can just give away our picks and keep their own, better, pick.
