Always something with him, could possibly be a high risk high reward trade opportunity at some point though

I called it before he got drafted. Getting Zion you have a very short window to succeed like Derrick Rose, because his body will not last long. But it appears his window is shorter than Rose.

I called it too. The kids cried. I was villainized and hated on. I stuck to my guns altho i did feel bad for saying it but f it. It was logic.

I don't want no Zion. Give me Shai in the future to pair with Bam

Imo biggest problem this season is the shooting. The numbers are glaring. On average our players are shooting 4 % less than they were last season. I've never seen this bad of a regression across the board with the same personnel

Last season vs This Season Shooting %

Herro 39.9 down to 37.3
Caleb 41.3 down to 37.6
Struss 41 down to 33.6
Duncan 37.2 down to 33.5
Lowry 37.7 down to 33.3
Gabe 36.8 down to 32.2
Dipo 41.7 down to 31.2

Overall as a team 37.9 down to 33.7

Some of it can be attributed to mean regression. Caleb, Struss, Dipo were never that good of shooters. But a lot of it, just shooters going cold i.e Duncan, Struss, Lowry and Gabe

As much as we need a 4 and a pg, we need to get shooters we can trust. Struss, Duncan, Gabe ain't it. The season we made run to finals/ECF we shot well. We just don't have that elite offensive player to have a great season if we don't shoot well

That’s just what happens when majority of your shooters are undrafted scrubs. I’d love to see what are record is if we were shooting at least league average

Right now Herro's contract value and efficiency is better.

Shooting relies a lot on rhythm, and with so many injuries neither Lowry nor Dipo can be expected to shoot very well. That's one reason, though, that he shouldn't be playing hero-ball in the last two minutes of a game. Duncan had injuries too and also started poorly and lost his shot, but with repetition, it should come back. Caleb and Herro are shooting at league average, and that's fine, especially Herro, who has to make a ton of tough shots.

One of them was being defended by Bam Jimmy and Dipo, the other wasn’t.

This season and their entire careers stats beg to differ lol

Ok ok Donovan is better but what's Mitchell's contract in comparison?? Herro can still improve too

Ps. Head to head, Herro's metrics stack up.

Jovic 2nd game back 26 points (7/14) 3/5 for 3 10 boards 2 blocks 4 assists and played 40minutes , back seems alright, they need to play him instead of Strus/Duncan rather than Love. Jovic can play SF better than both the current versions of Struss and Duncan.

Now why would we do something that might result in a positive result? That's not how it works this season.

We're going to continue to play undrafted rookies or undrafted 2nd year guys and you're going to like it.

I think we should let them develop. Both Yurt7 and Jovic missed a lot of time and now we have some frontcourt depth. Bad timing but next year maybe both will contribute.

That said, I think Yurt7 should at least play a little this season but I'm not sure he will get a chance, lineups are tightening up.

Ideally, I'd like to see Love/Yurt7/Jovic spamming threes on the front line.
