The worst part about KD getting hurt is we’re going to need more from Booker and Chris Paul now. I hope they don’t sustain an injury with more of a workload. We’re really going to need DA to step up while KD is out.

I’m going to predict KD misses the next 3 games at minimum. He’d probably play if it was a playoff game. The fact he finished his work out probably means it’s nothing serious, more just a precautionary measure.

THe boot is kinda worrying though. I'm just hoping it's for maximum caution. We have a pretty tough schedule to finish the season with 3 B2B's and all are against playoffs teams (unless Lakers don't make it lol). We've only got 2 easy games left unless we count two more against the Thunder and two more against the Lakers as easy. I suppose it depends on who plays for the Thunder and if Lakers are at full health.

It's important to get wins for seeding purposes but for me, the most important thing is to just get him ready for the playoffs.

Could be a week or two, ugh. Hopefully five games max and still give him some time to gel with the team before playoffs.

***** damn. Boot likely means at least a few weeks if not more.

People wondered why not everyone was a fan of the trade…well this is exactly. Nobody denies Durant’s greatness but he’s a walking injury at the age of 34…and he’s a player that has had a weak physique his entire (HoF) career so his durability isn’t gonna get any better as he ages with those skinny fragile bones.

Worst part is that we’re gonna now have another injury to Booker or CP3 or both since both will have to overcompensate to help keep the team tread above water. And both are gonna be exhausted going into playoffs having to deal with a significantly higher workload.

Same story all season. Just before important three game stretch. I guess with so many injuries we should just be happy to be a 4th seed and making the playoffs.

Ok we really need KD to wear old fashioned Hi Tops so he won't roll his damn ankle again. We should force DA to wear them also because he frequently sprains his ankles.

Relax! Take a deep breath and remind yourself that it’s not the end of the world. We could be living in Ukraine right now being bombed as we speak. Everything’s going to be alright this is just a minor setback and then it’s onto the nba finals. Keep breathing..

Easy bud, this is a basketball forum. Nobody’s standing on the ledge because of it but basketball wise it absolutely sucks. Of course there’s atrocities happening all around the globe, that doesn’t relate to basketball or Suns at all.

4-6 weeks. If that's correct.

That's up through the 1st week or so of the playoffs. Provided we can avoid the play-in.........

The most important thing now is to rest the starters from back to back games what left(Bucks, Sixers and Nuggets). Can't afford to take any more risks.

This is exactly what I feared when we traded for KD.

At his age he is prone to injuries and we simply won't have enough games to fully integrate him, with 20 some games we still had some time but we're going to go into the playoffs without him and possibly have to survive the 1st round without him.

The season could be a 1st round playoff exit.

Crazy that it hasn’t even been 30 days since the trade happened…a 30 day return policy on all trades would come in handy now lol

Without a doubt. I mean, KD is injury prone, but getting injured during a warmup is ridiculous.

Hopefully our 1st round opponent can be an easy one like OKC or the Jazz but who knows we may just draw the Clippers or Mavs lol

Hope so. Greg Moore hasn’t exactly been reliable in the past but a well reputable Duane Rankins sharing the article is concerning at least imo…he wouldn’t attach his name to it (even while acknowledging it’s coming from Moore) without him somewhat trusting Moore’s source as well.

It's a super easy "Well, they had concerns, but looks like he'll be playing in a few days" denial. Pretty much the definition of clickbait here. Let's all hold off on the doom and gloom until we hear from the Suns/Durant themselves. We've had enough of the doom/gloom for a lifetime.

This is a funny thread, although you can feel the anxiety behind it. I get it.

BTW. nobody said Shei Gilchrist-Alexander. He's been mentioned a few times as well.

You really can’t make this crap up. Maybe our best chance to win a title and the guy gets hurt in a layup line. If he’s out for the regular season we are cooked. Our seed will be low and he will not be integrated into the team at all when the playoffs start.
