Why because they hit 3s??? Did you even watch the game? What did Kyrie do the first 3 quarters? They were down double figures before luka re-entered the game in the second quarter.
Luka was a -4 in +/-. Kyrie was at 0.
Luka has had a negative +/- for 10 games now. Its the opposite with Kyrie.
The team plays much better when they play with Kyrie. Its not even a debate. No need for you to cry about it, these are facts.
Holiday was -30, Frank -16... Luka was still only -4 and they were on the floor with him at some point. After the 1st Q game was tied, he was at 0. When he came back, score was 32 : 40 for NOLA.
Kidd let Doncic struggle for 3Q's before he finally sat him down for good. He couldn't even walk properly, how is he going to play at the highest level, we all saw that. He was bad, no excuses other than the fact that Kidd is not doing anything on the sidelines. He should have recognized that, be smarter and said, look you're injured your leg is messed up, we will sit you down for couple of games.
Also, Kyrie was bad until the 4th Q.

That's literally not true
Kyrie benefits a lot by playing mostly against bench units with basically best and highest production role players, opposite is true for Doncic. You can simply go and check lineup combinations.
For example, Mavs BY FAR the best 5 man combination is Luka,Green, THJ, Maxi, Wood at incredible +24pts. But they rarely play together.
Kyrie's best unit is Bullock, Green, Kyrie, THJ, Powell at 10pts lower than lineup above.
Also, all lineup combinations (2-man, 3-man, 4-man, 5-man) with highest point difference have Luka in them. It's on coaches to figure it out but that's too much to ask from them because they are just watching like us.
