We have to take credit for the wins AND the losses. ;-)

I will hope that I don't get another chance in the regular season. Take us home!!!

Your game threads were :lift: but the team was :sigh:

We still have time. It's hard to see the team so sloppy and still expecting that it's enough to win, but that's the sense I got. They still expected too win... HOW? I have no clue, but man... Lots of stupid play tonight. Missed free throws. Those stupid early Bam fouls. None of that was on Love or really on the undrafted guys. It was just bad basketball from our team leaders and low unfocused effort. Spo can fix it...

Still continuing to play small ball with Martin in way too many intervals. This team can’t gain any consistency with this style of play. Yurt can’t get one damn minute on the floor with Bam is just absurd.

Be calm.

I was frustrated about Yurt too, but I think that ship has sailed for this season anyhow. The Heat have bird rights and can go over cap to sign him. I expect they will.

It's not really time to try new tactics with 15 games to go. For both Jović and Yurt, the team needs to concentrate on setting up a development program to bring them back next season after a good offseason. If we had the intention of Yurt getting playoff minutes, we would not have signed two bigs.

Spo will have a 9-10 man rotation for postseason:

Butler, Adebayo, Herro, (Lowry), Oladipo, Love
Vincent, Martin, Max, Zeller

Others (who won't play unless there are serious injuries): Duncan Robinson, Jamal Cain (RFA), Haywood Highsmith (ufa 2024), Yurt (RFA), Jović (rookie deal until 2026), Orlando Robinson (RFA)

Maybe Duncan has a chance if he gets an opportunity, but I doubt Spo will feature him unless (again) there are injuries. He has Strus's role and Strus has beaten him to the SG reserve minutes.

Udonis.

Note that Strus, Love, Vincent, and Zeller are all UFA-2023, meaning that the Heat do not have the right to first refusal or matching offers. While many here see Vincent and Strus as scrubs, I doubt they will have trouble getting a better deal than they are being paid now in Miami. Food for thought.

Just finished watching the first half and spot watching second half. The first half was good basketball overall by. Game plan was solid and improvements in the rotation. Bringing in Oladipo and Zeller (Bam being in foul trouble) in as the 6th and 7th man instead of Strus made a huge difference in consistency of play. Dipo played well the first half and naturally fits this team starting point guard spot.

The Heat controlled the first half right up to the last 3 mins. The negative about the first half was Bam got in foul trouble after starting the game to playing like a star. Spo made the right decision to bring in Oladipo first but he played him way too long and got him obviously fatigued. Dipo clocked in at the mid 1st quarter and played all the way till half. Vincent was none existing in this game. Not providing much of any contributions. Those 3 things made a major difference between Heat taking a strong lead in the first half to losing the lead and control.

*Spo its time to play Yurt.

We need an IggieGT to get us out of this rut we are in. Either Iggie or goodboy. Both seem to be partying in Cancun already though, so it's up to us G-Leaguers to bring this home

Who got next?

Admire your perseverance. I can't get myself to watch a game once I know the result, and in most cases even in wins! But for you to sit and watch a loss ...

I dunno Love had his fair share of half court passes that got intercepted.

Lowery....Love....it really does matter we see as much bad as we do good from those long passes.
