It's a good question. What do WeHam value in prospects? I don't have a good idea of their evaluation process and what attributes they value most. It could be they see shooting as teachable and value hard work and character over shooting. I do not think they draft for a particular skillset or look for fit in the lottery but instead take character, work ethic, and overall skill into consideration. Which means the Thompson twins could evaluate highly on their boards. What do you think?

I do think it's very possible the Magic draft one or possibly even two guys this board isn't sold on.

I think both Thompson twins and Whitmore are very much in play.

Based on what the scouts are saying we would need 4 and 5 to get the Thomson twins. I don't think they will be picked that early, but the talking heads and insiders certainly think so.

While Dick is taller, he doesn't have the driving ability as well as the one-on-one mentality that George has. Better 3pt shooter though.

Yup.. I think a lot has forgotten what kind of FO we have. They don't broadcast/leak anything and just decide something we fans didn't even think about.

I could be almost as excited about drafting him as I would be about drafting top 2 just in terms of the impact I believe he'd have as a complimentary piece around Franz and Paolo.

Yuuuuupppp.... I know that some people might be against them specifically because of their shooting and league they are in and path that they took.... but.... they do sound like guys WeHam would go after. Just saying... don't be surprised!

A seamless fit, right? 6'8" shooter who knows how to play without the basketball. He'd slot perfectly in at SG. His size is underrated. It was an underrated part of Franz Wagner coming out of college too. A guy with that kind of skill and size is going to find a way to make an impact in the league.

After the Paolo pick last year, it's clear people doing mock drafts have no insight on how teams are picking. You can create mock drafts in a vacuum looking at each prospect individually and ranking them accordingly (which could create a consensus) , but it seems no mock drafts actually take real information from teams when listing the prospects. Especially this early (pre lottery). If anything the numerous mock drafts are a feedback loop creating a consensus w/one or two outliers 'to be different'

Nick Smith Jr with another solidly efficient game: 6-12 FG and 2-5 3PT.

It wouldn't totally surprise me if his shooting percentages end up respectable at the end of the season.

I believe 5 years from now he will be the best guard from this draft.
