If we can play this well and lose by 1 pt the rest of the season I won’t be mad

Good for the stealth tank, though bad for morale I suppose. Hard to waste such a good game from Ant and Grant.

We gave away our huge lead with pretty much zero pressure on keeping it, oh well

Bad coaches find a way to lose games this way. It's just expected we will get outcoached in half 2 and iso ball our way to a loss. reminds me of nate but at least nate could motivate

Increasingly id be surprised to see Chauncey here past 2024. I think he gets a pass this year because excuses seem to get you by for a little while..

What a great game.
If you started with this squad and they stayed healthy you would be probably fighting for the 5th seed.

Not with Billups as the coach, IMO.

I thought he coached a brilliant game for most of the game against a championship level team that also happens to be one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the NBA. Portland lost b/c of rebounds, free throws, and to your point, not being able to get decent shots off at the end of the game.

It's hard for me to argue, I've watched so few of your games.

This story has repeated itself about 15 times this year. Blown leads over and over again

I think Portland has a good amount of talent on the roster. I don’t think it’s all that well balanced, but there’s plenty of talent to compete for a good playoff spot, particularly this year. Portland has had lots and lots of games where they either dig a huge early hole or get the doors blown off in the second half, and for a team that isn’t that young anymore, I think at least some of it falls on coaching.

It absolutely wasn't the reason we lost or anything, but the possession where Nurkic got a defensive stop and drew a foul and then ended up bricking two free throws was kind of sad. It felt like we got a defensive stop and a foul but walked away with nothing, they got possession of the ball right back like it didn't matter they just turned it over AND fouled. I don't know what kind of rule would make that better but I think it's silly sometimes that a take foul like this can totally cost a team their possession. We didn't get a chance for Dame to take a look or our offense generate anything better, so it's like it was actually in Philly's favor to take a foul there since they didn't actually get called for the take foul like they probably should have.

That was a momentum killer for the Blazers and seemed to energize the sixers.
Dame's inbound turnover was not good, and then he throws the ball away on a take to the basket.
But all in all, a coach of the best offensive team in the league has got to help his guys score more than 5 points in the last 10 minutes.

Great game if you are in team tank, but a pretty rough loss for the make the playoffs camp.
