Cory Joseph is really allergic to giving the ball to Wiseman for some reason. Shooed him away on that last play only to take a contested fadeaway 2 that of course missed.

Worst record in the league, just stay there and get through with this nightmare season. Next year the beginning of the climb upwards will start. Hopefully, these last few years will all be worth it.

Interesting from the post game presser Casey seemed really unhappy with the effort/energy/focus on this game. Mentioned that Wiseman and CoJo were positive but the other guys didn't have the "give a damn" out there and needed to be giving more..... He specifically called out Killian and Duren (who just came back from injury and was 4 of 8 but was team worst -23 in 21 minutes tonight).

I thought Duren played about as well as could be expected coming back from his injury. His heavily skewed +/- is because he spent the bulk of his minutes out there with Casey's three guard lineup that was getting smoked defensively and kept turning the ball over.

It’s funny that Duren got called out for hustle and Wiseman didn’t. I saw a few times where Wiseman didn’t jump for a rebound and didn’t get it. I wonder if this is Casey knowing whos fragile and who’s not.

It's really nice having either Duren or Wiseman in the game at all times. I doubt they can play much together though, unless they let Wiseman play more outside, which is not where I want my 7'1 player to be. I wish we'd run more plays for Wiseman as well. He's a really good scorer and we're not really maximizing his offensive touches. He seems to have to scrounge for points.

Us going 0-10 in our last 10 games, and Charlotte going 7-3 in their last 10 games 100% locks us, San Antonio, and Houston into the bottom 3 spots. I'm still on board with trying to win as many games as we can down the stretch to get some good winning habits for next year, but I think the team's already completely given up on competing is games this year and we're on autopilot moving forward.

Orlando's going to win 30+ games and still finish with the 5th worst record in the league and a 42% chance of moving up to a top 4 draft pick.

Its crazy to me that I think Wiseman needs minutes and experience more than our rookie Duren. But I went back and looked at minutes played this season and Duren has played over 2.5x more minutes. Wiseman has just been away from the game so long he's basically a rookie again. I guess its not a big surprise he struggles with physicality (lacks play strength too), positioning, processing the game (bball iq) which rookies are known to struggle with.

Duren better get more minutes. Granted I haven’t watched wiseman much, but seems duren could be almost everything you’d want in a center in today league, rebounder hopefully shot blocker/defensive annchor and get lobs. Doesn’t seem wiseman has the defensive anchor characteristic, maybe duren don’t either. We will see I guess
