If we can't land Young or Stroud, I'm all in on Lamar

It sounds like it will cost a good bit more than two first round picks to get to Young or Stroud

I will refuse to watch next year if Darnold is QB1

I doubt Lamar leaves Baltimore. He wants a fully guaranteed contract + trading 2 1sts + we'll have to cut / rework several contracts to afford him.

Unfortunately, our little winning streak after Rhule got canned is coming to bite us. Probably have to settle for Levis or Richardson.

Not sure how I feel about that. But if Young or Stroud are studs then it'll be a great trade.

If they bust or we somehow decide to draft Richardson or Levis...riot.

Need to find a WR ASAP. Biggest need on the team now.

We gave up sooooooo much for the 1st overall pick. We better hope we know what we are doing. No clear cut number 1 qb imo. DJ and 9 should have been more than enough.

DJ is massively overrated. He's in the Tyler Boyd tier of WR's. Not a #1, but a good #2.

We can literally trade our 2nd for Hopkins and have a better WR core next year.

Or sign OBJ, Shultz and/or Richie James and be much better.

I agree but my thing is I have no idea who to take out of the 3 qb's I like. I wouldn't be surprised if we take the wrong one or if a guy like Max Duggan turns out to be a stud. As of now I have them rated as

CJ Straud
Anthony Richardson
Bryce Young

in that order

Also, don't forget we traded CMC and immediately started winning.

I'm actually glad the Bears chose Moore over 2025 1st.

If I were the Panthers I would see if I could trade back and select one of the 3 that FELL to us out of the three.

I LOVE young but I think he could be a tad undersized and injury prone.

To me Straud is the safe out of the 3 He is a combination of Young and Richardson

I don't love giving away DJ, but the two 1sts, two 2nds and change was the price I was expecting. If Carolina can add another respectable WR or two in free agency I'll feel a lot better. I don't even think they necessarily need a big-ticket guy, just a couple starting-caliber options a young QB can depend on to be in the right spot and not drop balls.

The willingness to trade back makes some sense, but I'm guessing it's strictly with the Texans. If Carolina views Young and Stroud as equal why not try to squeeze a little value from Houston (Brandin Cooks and a 2nd)? That's assuming the Texans have a strong preference.

If this is all for Richardson or Levis they're morons, but otherwise it's a gamble I can understand. The NFC South is in shambles and the defense, run game (assuming Foreman returns) and O-line are ready to compete now. It's not the worst time to take a big swing.

The first two updated mock drafts I've came across have us taking Richardson at 1

From The Ringer - "This is an incredibly bold but potentially franchise-altering move for the Panthers, who jump all the way up to the no. 1 spot. Who they take becomes the new big question for draft season, and I’m going to give them the star of the NFL combine in Richardson. The former Gator—who has been compared to former Carolina great Cam Newton—is a uniquely gifted athlete who brings the ability to impact the game with both his arm and his legs. He may lack starting experience, but no quarterback in this class has a higher ceiling."

I'm 99% sure 99% of the reason people think we'll take him is because he is like Cam. But worse in every way.

The Ringer's had Richardson mocked to us for awhile now because Cam. They may well be right, but at this point I just assume they kept it that way out of sheer laziness.

I am a fan of Stroud, Young and Richardson... but I am almost 100 percent sold on Stroud. I wouldn't HATE the Richardson pick but I would be even mood. With young I would be slightly dissapointed but optimistic at the same time.

I think many will be shocked at how good Richardson will be
