They remain in 10th in the East, only a game up on the Bulls for the last spot in the Play-In Tournament!
They're also slotted at the 11th pick in the NBA Draft Lottery.
On Wednesday night, they lost another game in which they led by 15+ points. Porzingis had a career-high 43 points but the turnovers by Brad Beal, Kyle Kuzma, and Deni Avdija were tanktastic. Beal missed a FT and a layup in the final minutes. Gafford and Wright weren't good defensively. Wes Unseld Jr. once again left a bench unit out that saw the lead evaporate and refused to insert his stars (Beal and Porzingis) back into the game until they were down 6 points.
The ATL Hawks remain in the 8th spot. They have gone hot and they have gone cold. But it seems they are a matchup problem for the Bullets. I expect Trae Young to have a bigger night and Dejounte Murray to be better on Friday night.
