Replace Jerry West with Michael Jordan

With all other personnel the same as in West's career, how does history turn out differently? How many championships, if any, is Jordan able to win?

Sorry, let's give a little more detail. Let's call it time machine, but he has sufficient time to learn different rules of play.

I think he'd win 1-2 more, but this is always hard to argue.

Jerry West was an incredible player and is arguably the most underrated player of all-time.

I think Jordan would win between 0-3 NBA Championships in place of West.

Should hands down be the best offensive player in the league. Open question if that gets him to Russell/Wilt level. I imagine unibro could make the case it does

The fact that u know how I feel about these comparisons and u think that I think it gets him to that level is crazy lol

IIRC you didn't think it was a given KD would outdo the centers. As it is, this is a 90's player as opposed to a 2010's player and he's significantly shorter. Not too clear how you view 90's/60's but you and 70's seemed to agree the gap in scheme sophistication is bigger from 90's to 2020's than 60's to 90's.

Also, pay-mind "getting to" a level does not mean you can't also "get to and exceed" a level. I checked my semantics :D

Well you didn’t recall correctly lmao

Bro we talk outside of here u know what I’d think about these things lmao

I don’t know much about the scheme in the 60s or the 90s lol, don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it
