This is where Marks exceeds his expectations. Evaluating young talent that will produce.

Well Sharpe is kaka.

Which is why I don't understand why people want to get rid of him. That's the arguably the toughest and most important part of being a GM. It's necessary in both a rebuild and finding those minimum salary gems for a contender.

As for Sharpe, be patient. He's done more than Claxton had done in his first 2 years. Plus, aside from Jones, nobody selected after him has done much more yet.

Sharpe is a work in progress. He's got good rebounding chops and he's working on his 3 pointer. He needs time.

I sound like a hypocrite though, because in the same token i think we need to trade Cam.

Jonathan Isaac coming back today according to FanDual thingy.

Soon enough people will be talking about him without remembering what I said months ago. I'd give up Ben and 5 1st round picks if he anything close to what he was. I bet he will come back with the boom after a minute.

Sharpe imho is more or less, kinda sorta a Drummond-lite. (someone on the board, I think, said that already and I think/thought they are right) Not great if he's your #1 but is another big body to put in for 10-12 minutes if that's what is called for and hope for the best. He can rebound. Like Drummond, I think that he sometimes overextends himself on offense. Maybe the best way to describe him is that right now he is kind of like that reliever who's ERA is below average but which almost every team needs to pitch the ball and play out the innings.

Not everyone up-and-down the roster is going to be above average. With some, you just hope that they are not too much below it. Hope that makes sense.

And... as unpredictable and raw as he is, he does have room to grow.

Go Amerks!

Man, I've barely watched them this season, but... huh!
It's hard to remember the last time an elite RS team got brought down to earth in such humiliating fashion.

Didn't those guys seem like a near-lock for 'next up' champs when they lost to the Bucks?
Or at least, that's how it seemed to me.

Okay, this might just be the funniest thing I've read all season:

Donovan Mitchell said after the game he pulled Walker Kessler aside to tell him to stop calling out which type of defense he was going to play.

Kessler kept calling out his own strategy whether he was going to drop or not, and it allowed Donovan to know how to attack him.

Donovan said he told Kessler “stop giving me the answers to the test.” Lol.

But Mitchell had high praise for the rookie Jazzman, said he had a bright future.

OTOH, the Jazz *did* manage to upset the Cavs, so.. hah!

Wishful thinking here:
1. Saltics vs 8. ATL
4. Greek vs 5. Miami

2. BK vs 7. Ping Pong
3. Cavs vs 6. Philthy

Okay-- fatass Shannon Sharpe, wearing his grandfather's patchwork jumper vs. the always-engaged Steven Adams.

Isaac coming back today according to reports. If Marks will be able to snatch that beast away from Tragic clowns before LA does, he'd be a hero. will give them Ben and and Joe, they can eat some salary.

Its not like you going to be asked or something. Either Lakers or us will get him in a few anyway. Shaq -> D12 -> Isaac, but keep your hopes high

"When you look at those three things, it’s a testament to how he lives his life," Warriors star Draymond Green told USA TODAY Sports. "I recently said he’s the greatest face the NBA has ever had. I love how Draymond's both the guy who madly swings for other players' testicles, yet also a humble, appreciative NBA-historian. :D

I'm really conflicted who I'd rather see during PO. Beating up Philthy will definitely give me way more joy. It's just seeing either Ping Pong clowns lose or Philthy lose is victory either way
