Brooklyn were rumoured to want 4 1st for him but I m sure they d jump on that offer

Not all 1st are equal, then you draft Hendricks with Chicago s pick

Fultz,suggs, Cole, MCW
Mikal,Harris,suggs
Franz, Mikal, Houstan, BOL
Paolo, Hendricks,JI, chuma
Wcj,Moe,goga

You pass on Henderson or Miller for Mikal Bridges!!!!!
Wow!!!!

Was just a question.

Because I saw people here saying that they d trade 4 1st for Mikal, just wanted to see if someone would trade 1 pick for him

As for Henderson I m not a fan at all
I like Miller but not a fan of his the gun story

With Miller a lot will depend on his interviews and background checks.
I trust Weltman and Hammond to due their diligence on this.

Tempting...I love Bridges but can't do it...just can't miss out on another Ja Morant on a rookie scale...I WOULD trade CHI pick, DEN pick, and unprotected ORL 24 for Bridges (IF we get Scoot this year). That's a monster team, not even counting what we do with cap space...maybe a more offensive-minded Isaac replacement or a tough 2-way Big that can allow WCJ to move 4/5 AND a sniper (Cam Johnson or GTJ?). In this scenario, I waive Isaac/Fultz/Harris/Bol to clear cap or include them in Bridges deal as salary filler. The rotation below is somewhat pointless as nearly all of the players could shift spots for different matchups/chemistry. Lots of length, lots of defense, lots of 3pt shooting, still very young but huge upside at every spot (2 deep).

Scoot/Cole/MCW
Bridges/Suggs/Houstan
Franz/Cam Johnson?/Okeke
Paolo/WCJ/M. Wagner
Poeltl?/Goga/2rp :o

Keep Bol and waive Okeke

My sense of Brandon Miller is that he's one of the best wing prospects we've seen in quite some time. I haven't researched this but who has been a better wing prospect over the last ten years?

I posted earlier in the year that I wanted Miller and I got push back from people that he wouldn’t fit since we have 2 forwards already. Do others think fit is not an issue? Can we run Miller-Franz-Paolo out there?

With Mikal you know what you have, a very very good 2 way player, a team player, no trouble guy and perfectl fit for our team

Brooklyn would make that trade as they don't have a franchise player and the 2nd pick could (not always) give them that.

This trade would be Good for both team

If Miller or scoot become better than Mikal, they win the trade

However, we can't lose that trade because we would have a contender team

Bulls pick and Okeke for Kennard, the Griz 2025 FRP and pick swap-rights in 2026.

Kobe Bufkin looks like the best prospect on Michigan.

It works for what the Magic have been drafting for, positionless basketball, interchangeable players, etc...

Having said that, I would make sure to stagger Miller and Franz as much as possible to limit their time playing the 2.

Absolutely yes, this league is all about being small and forward playing like bigs.

miller+wagner+banchero + two guards is a proper young death lineup, imagine attacking in transition what would be for the opponents against them

One interesting aspect of this draft year for the Magic. We are on pace for 33-34 wins. In any ordinary year, that number of wins would NOT get you the 5th best lottery odds.

Last year that was 8-9th worst record
2 years ago that record got you into the play-in tourney
3 years ago that record also got you into the play-in

This pattern keeps going. This is just a year where a lot of teams are not tanking and trying to get in.

So we are getting the best of both worlds. A pretty competitive young team just outside the playoffs, but with the 5th best lottery odds and a pretty solid draft pick.

Hopefully it's indicative of what's to come for the league. I think the play-in has done wonders for increasing competitiveness and providing fans with meaningful games.

If we stay bottom 5, we have 42% chance to get a top 4 pick

Hopefully Chicago keep fighting for playin spot so they get less chances to get a top 4 pick, Chicago s pick will be perfect to draft Hendricks

Also, I think Zach Edey is going to be a successful NBA player and is going to get drafted way too low (or undrafted) and it'll look silly during the season.

Yes Miller.

My dream in 2017 was that Tatum slips to 6.
I wanted him so bad.

I also hoped for Markannen instead of Isaac.
