Yay we getting bounced by the Bucks or Celtics first round

Jovic might be better than love honestly. Probably not, I think Love is just playing out of position, he’s not a starting level player anymore

Not in the scenario you describe. If the Heat are bounced by the Celtics or Bucks, they would not be a lottery team. A lottery team finishes with one of the 14 worst records in basketball. These teams are put into the NBA Draft lottery with odds assigned based on where each team finished. A lottery team is not in the playoffs. "If a 9th or 10th seed from either conference gets into the playoffs via the Play-In Tournament, the team they supplanted—the team formerly in the 7th or 8th spot, now bumped out—will participate in the lottery drawing." <- that's right from the nba site.

If we are knocked off by the Hawks and the Raptors or Wizards, you have a 1 in 200 chance for your wet dream to come true.

Love is struggling to keep up with PF's and even some centers. His days at the PF spot are over, needs to be a center moving forward, also he is a bench player at this point in time not starting material.

I think this summer the big question will bedo you trade Herro for VanVleet. The Heat biggest issue as of right now is the point guard play.

We would be that stupid. But even granted that, who exactly is Van Vleet passing to? Dude is struggling with far more weapons than Miami has.

Instead of Van Vleet, I'd rather try to pry Siakam from Toronto and Chris Paul from Phoenix. If CP3 doesn't want to leave, I'd circle back to Kyrie before Van Vleet.

Probably could have had him for Lowry and a salary filler. SMDH.

The power of the media. When I read that he had said that, the stories made it sound like he went off...and he seems to have said it joking. Journalism as a profession has gone into the toilet.

Love addition is becoming quite the poison pill, not only is he sucking, he's also taking space Jovic should be getting.

I see no reason to play these washed up vets for a team that's not going anywhere.

Quite a depressing team this is - with all these has-beens entitled divas.

Those players are not realistic unfortunately. Why would the Suns trade Chris Paul, it wont be for Lowry thats for sure. Maybe they want Butler but the value makes no sense to us and they dont have picks. Siakam seems happy but if he is moved it will be in a biding war which we will be easily out bid.

Van Vleet makes sense for us and would be somewhat attainable. Lowry + our first round draft pick and Jovic sounds about right. We get a younger PG who can defend which makes Herro life easier and he can also score and shoot the 3 which is crucial for our team. Best part is he would just take Lowry contract but be actually worth it, something like 4/120 sounds pretty good.

As for Kyrie, we would have to deal with Mark Cuban, thats not going to happen unless it’s a ridiculous crazy deal in his favor.
