Can Gute only sign players to the max amount at their position? (Jimmy Graham, Jaire, Bakt, Rodgers were all the top paid players at their position)

The jets fan page post is nonsense since tons of **** gets announced before it can technically happen. Trey Wingo, who knows, but it's not impossible he has some connections with the Jets.Frank Nova wrote:Do you trust Trey Wingo or a Jets Fan Page?

If the last month has taught us anything, it's that you can't really trust anyone seeking clicks
MickeyDavis wrote:Why do so many of you think Rodgers wants to "stick it" to the Packers? What if he really does want to finish his career in Green Bay? Why is that so terrible? Certainly the Packers appear to be ready to move on to Love and that's fine, that's a football decision. But this notion that he wants to somehow screw over the franchise is hilarious.

If I were the Jets and the Pack were doing this I'd immediately leak that they were interested in Lamar.Matches Malone wrote:Someone on NFL network threw out the idea that maybe GB is trying to leverage the QB market to up their draft compensation with all the QB's starting to go off the board. I'm not sure if that's what is happening here, but something to think about.

Favre, at every major offseason deadline for three years, "Gee, I still don't know what I want. Someone fly down to the farm and tell me you love me. How much do you love me? You love me, right?"
Rodgers, in the offseason prior to the Packers drafting Jordan Love and winning back to back MVP's, "I want to play well into my 40's and retire a Packer."
Somehow a huge contingent of Packers fans view these two situations as similar.
All world HOF QBs for the same franchise that ponder retirement more with each gray hair, both playing for the Packers for a long long time, who had their replacements drafted with late first round picks who need a couple of years of development before they are ready to start. Yeah, simply laughable to compare. C'mon guys, what are we doing here?
