Yeah, the only thing to not like about Hyatt is his frame. The speed, explosion off the line, route-running, are all top notch.

I like Hyatt a lot. I feel like Doubs is the route-tree guy in our offense. If you draft Hyatt you play him in the slot with Watson on the outside. That's some gamebreaking speed on the field.

Absolutely cooked Alabamas defense in a way no one probably ever has under Nick Saban. Don’t be fooled by a 4.4 40yd dash, kids got wheels like no other WR in this class.

I agree. There's guys who play slower than their 40 would indicate, and there's guys who play faster than what their 40 show. He definitely seems to be the latter.

I know Brian Branch is the hot safety name in this draft, but I think I like his teammate Jordan Battle a bit more. Good size, high IQ player that's played everywhere from FS, SS, and Nickel, in the box, aligned in 1-high and 2-high safety sets and tested well at the combine. If we don't bring Amos back, I think you could plug Battle in on day 1.

Dude is doing a really good job of torpedoing his draft stock.

Jaren Hall, Jake Haener, and Max Duggan would make for some good depth/developmental QB's later in the draft.

Do we go big on a tight end this year?

Has to do with the ATL discussion right now but I wouldn't hate it. I'm totally on board with one in the 1st, but ideally you'd get a another starting caliber TE in the middle rounds.

I'm far from a draft expert but the top of this draft feels pretty sketchy.

I definitely want a TE (an elite one is a QBs best friend) but I really would prefer to not draft one in R1. I like Kraft but I'm seeing he's tagged as a 3rd round guy and we know our luck in that round!

I know that the Packers, especially Gutey, haven't had a whole lot of luck with third round guys lately, but don't forget that we usually do pretty well when we have MULTIPLE third-round picks. So the idea is we just need to get more than one and we'll be fine!

My favorite Packers third round ever was in 1995--four contributors to a Super Bowl team :

65. DT Darius Holland
66. FB William Henderson
73. LB Brian Williams
90. WR Antonio Freeman

Another safety I really like in this class. We could use his ball skills in the secondary.

If you wouldn't take him at #6 in this draft I don't think you would take him at #13. But it would be easier to do it with two first round picks.

I've been having this dream lately, too, but I wonder if there isn't something more to the character concerns there. I know McShay said something about character before the Combine, but I don't know if that was strictly related to the car crash and drag racing or if there are more underlying issues.

If it's just the fallout from the crash, I doubt he gets out of the top 10. He's not doing any jail time but I could see the families of the crash victims suing him later. That girl's blood alcohol was 0.197, so I'm not sure how she was driving a vehicle because I would be comatose.

Realistic mock. Boring for most here, but would shock me if it went much different as far as priorities. Might want to get used to the idea that WR/TE are not First Round needs

On the TE front I wonder what it'd take to get Kyle Pitts after Mariota and Arthur Smith refused to get him the ball all year long.

I’d give up our first in a heartbeat for him. Not sure how much more given he has burned two years of rookie contract and the knee injury last year.

I would also trade our 1 for pitts. But I doubt Atl would do that
