I did find it interesting that Owen Miller played CF the other day. Guessing with Taylor on the IL to start the season & likely keeping Frelick & Wiemer down at least a couple weeks to get that extra year of control that they don't really have a backup CF behind Mitchell to start the year.

Re: Spring Training Game Thread
I'm going to the Brewers Cubs game tomorrow, hopefully I get a fun lineup.
Maybe I just have my spring brewers goggles on but I'm optimistic about this year's club.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If Uribe's command ever comes around he's gonna be filthy.

Re: Spring Training Game Thread
With the way Brosseau, Miller and Voit (and even Turang) have hit this spring, I don't see how Hiura makes the roster. All four are better options, either as utility players, first basemen or straight up designated hitters. I really wanted Hiura to figure it out, but it's time to cut the cord.
