For no good reason? Lol please. Another team went and won 19 out of 20 games for crying out loud. What're ya gonna do?

There's been 2 other seasons recently where the bucks have had best record in the east - and another season recently where they won the title. They're good. No shame in being a couple games behind them with 16 games left.

Meanwhile, we hit a little bit of a rough patch (as pretty much all teams do) where basically every game we lost was either to a *really* good team, or we were extremely shorthanded or barely lost in OT (because of BS calls by the ref, or because we got unlucky with 1 of our guys bricking 2 FT's, etc.)

Doesn't mean we still can't win the title.

Even if the Bucks get the 1 seed, it's not the end of the world. The 1 seed has not won the east since 2017.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Celtics closer to the 3rd seed now than the 1st seed. I sad.

Celts playing dumb in the clutch cost them the #1 seed.

There's always next year.

Great job, GC 123!
I refrained from being a super active daily participant in this annual thread for the first time in many years for several reasons.

I want 6 straight definitive road wins NOW - without any brain dead closing lapses/fiascos - and I will feel better.
And, of course, beat the mother **** Bucks (will give us the tiebreaker - if they at least call 1/2 of Giannis’ offensive fouls & travels), & the mother **** Sixers (we already have the tiebreaker) on Thurs 3/30 & Tues 4/4, respectively.
And we will get the mother **** 1 seed, beat the playin #8, then beat the Cavs or the Knicks in R2 (tough work but eminently doable), then beat the Bucks or the Sixers in the ECF, & then beat who the **** ever in the Finals.
Get it done, Goddamit!

Blazers let us down last night & let the Sixers make a comeback. Ass holes.

JT - Get mean. Be the MVP ALL PRO you are for the majority of the remaining RS games & the POs. Your consistency since the ASB has definitely diminished.
#7 - Learn to **** dribble & improve your court awareness from the amoeba level all too often. Do the thngs you do at an elite level ONLY.
Marcus - No **** shooting unless in the flow. Improve your abysmal A/TOV of late. Way too flippant & careless of late. Get back your All NBA D.
Joe - Finally start calling momentum killing TOs, you idiot. Give more minutes to Malcolm White & Derrick Brogdon at crunch time!

Bobby is so **** fragile.
Cannot depend on him or a 1 year older Al next season.
Trade #7 for a very high quality big this summer. DO IT!

No Giannis against the Warriors. No Pritchard against the Hawks. Will the Cs make up ground?

48-19 Bucks
47-21 Celts
44-22 Sixers

1.5 games back - 2 in the loss column.

We obviously must must must beat them on 3/30 to gain another full game AND the tiebreaker, AND then they must lose 1 more game than us in the other remaining games to tie them. And then we are the 1 seed.

Meanwhile, the Sixers are right behind us.

All 3 teams have some tough games left.
Let’s make it simple & win out 14 straight (our hypothetically toughest remaining games are the Kings, Bucks & Sixers all on the road) - while the Bucks lose to the Kings A or the Nuggets A or the Sixers H or the Grizz H.
But you never know with our team given what has happened since the ASB!

Monday is a chance to pick up a game. Rockets should be a W, and the Kings are hot and could very well beat the Bucks at home.

It’s still possible the Bucks miss the playoffs entirely.

After advocating how important getting the 1st seed is, this team sure plays like it's really not that important to them. I agree with the poster above. Lock the thread.

The way we are trending, we may not even have home court for a Philly series.

Return to Boston Celtics
