I can't believe that a volcanic owner like Cuban is calm after what Kidd said to the media. It's incredible.

Well he's making it pretty darn easy to get himself fired by saying the things he's said. Those words are not that of a winner or leader. If Luka or especially if Kyrie said that, they would be obliterated by the media.

But why would he want to be fired? You have not explained.

Give up on Wood playing already. It's the same with Thibs and Cam Reddish. If he's in the dog house, he's in the dog house, no matrer how capable he is. Kidd runs his own mafia in Dallas. So if you dont roll with him, you're out. And sadly Dirk signed off on this.

Perhaps he's not actively "trying" to get himself fired but he's certainly not doing himself any favors. If he's somehow fired, it's not because of Luka, the team, Cuban or your guy Kyrie. It's because of himself. Most especially his lack of accountability and his inability to coach this team.

These 2 games aren't in Kidd, but what Kidd did by the 1st 10 games of the season was fireable offense.

It's too late for that now, this season is over, Cuban and Nico **** up following this fool's advise.
They went and signed McGee on his advise when they needed cap flexibility to recover from losing Brunson.
They listened to him and didn't pursue Brunson replacement, panicked before season tip off and signed Campazzo.
They sat idly by and watched him roll out a line up of Luka with Campazzo off ball with Powell on the floor in NOP, this was a head scratcher on some other level when they were trying to make a comeback.
They sat idly by when he put Wood in the doghouse and criticized him in a press conference 2 games into the season, as if the locker room needed this toxicity.
They watched Luka and Dinwiddie being run to the ground without any attempt to get creative with Kemba and Hardy.
They watched him play Luka on the st leg of a B2B with 4 guys missing, to then sit him on the 2nd night when the missing guys played, ensuring the team lost both games in POR.
When Nash got fired, there was a chance to bring back Kokoskov, they let the opportunity pass.

Now they have Kyrie a FA, when his tenure here was an absolute mess.
It takes a special kind of genius to go from having arguabely the best player in the league and max contract slot in cap space, to being luxury tax team of a team with no backup guard, no big wing, and no center in just 18 months.

If Cuban can convince Pop to drive to Dallas after leaving San Antonio, maybe that's a worthwhile replacement. I dont see any new coach that can handle big egos like Luka and Kyrie. You need a more veteran coach with equity so his tenure isnt suddenly in danger if he yells at either star. You get a newbie like Steve Nash, Kyrie will run him out of town. You need a coach that can challenge Luka to lose weight and have him respond positively too. You dont want him pouting in his mom's hair salon and have Cuban fly and pick him up. That would be a mess.

You know I don't really buy the too late argument. All it takes is a run in the last 10 games and you are back in the hunt.

I also remember Cuban said he regretted not firing Avery Johnson (in 2008) before the post season as he saw the doom coming. Admittingly, I fully expect Cuban do to the same mistake over and over again. I he followed his own advice...

Tha Hawks just hired a good coach and they are still struggling.
The only one that makes sense is Kokoskov, since he knows all players on roster except Wood and McGee.

Sorry there were no reports on this, at least i didn't saw anything. If this would have been more public i guarantee you it would have been a huge story. This guy looks like he's somekind of a far right movement political journalist, i wouldn't trust him at all.

But i mean, it is possible even though i don't believe it. It's incredibly weird that you go to be an assistant coach for Nash lol. Unless he thought it will be easier to win with KD, Kyrie and Harden so it could be that he was simply chasing a ring.

This is funny though, another Kidd masterclass. Dude is just embarrassing at this point.

Sounds like a stat line, that Wood could get done in less than half the minutes with more offense

My god Kidd's press conference was pure fire lol.. Mavs situation is so over his head, he's basically praying Kyrie and Luka can do something, he'll never hold himself responsible for anything.
