We need 3pt shooting but still should draft BPA. I see trade as a high probability if the FO can work it out.

let's be realistic:WeHam will not trade picks for veterans pushing for win now.

so,give me you best offensive player in the 6-10 range, position aside(we can not allow to pick for need right now).

the player who can improve more our 25-26 th offensive rating as a team.

What's the report on Nick Smith? I read a comp on him once that compared him to Vince, and thought he'd be in the top 10 this year. I don't watch college though, so I have no idea. I'll say this seems to be a very deep draft from what I've seen so far.

I feel so old.... how time flies... also, what say we sign him to our GL team if he ever wants to enter the draft.
What's your top ten heading into the tourney?

Going into the tourney? When guys like George , NSJ and the like can still jump high?

Then again Scoot shut it down just in time becahse his 3pt percentage was really going down..

Also, this is based on pure basketball play and not including outside factors like Millers soon to be lawsuits and the like

With that said..

1. Web - nuff said
2. Scoot - he shut it down just in time
3. Miller - he is good, score anywhere
4. Walker - leading the arguably best team in the ncaa
5. Amen - someone is gonna gamble on potential
6. NSJ - he really is peaking at the right time
7. Brice - physical profile of Bridges with shooting
8. George - someone needs an all around scoring SG
9. Ausar - same with the bro. Potential
10. Black - poor man's Cade/Luka profile
Got it. Good stuff!

If we can't get Miller, Dick is the pick!

The question about Scoot and his shooting is can he jut get to Ja Morant/SGA threat level of 3s. I think so. So I still take him at 2 if we end up there.

The Magic drafted his uncle Jeryl years ago. Granted Jeryl didn't turned out. I can admit I haven't seen Marcus play as of yet. So who knows on this one.

Just took a longer look at homeboy, Taylor Hendricks ...looks more than a little like Jabari Smith :o

Anybody feel he's got that level of shooting & defense?

I'm all about a new starting backcourt, but at least one of them should be a vet. With Isaac's future in doubt, I'd strongly consider a versatile big with upside with our second pick (and/or free agency). Hendricks looks pretty good for that role. Maybe it's a trade down with CHI pick-where we pick up a little more for our troubles and get Hendricks.

ORL pick...hopefully Scoot, but Nick Smith or best 3-level scoring guard available
CHI pick...draft Jenkins, or trade down to draft Jenkins and grab another pick or prospect
example: trade #8 to GSW for Moody & #18 (Jenkins) or trade #8, Fultz, Harris, and WCJ to GSW for Poole, Moody & #18

BRK and POR have multiple frps...maybe there's a combo trade to be made...
example: trade #8 and WCJ to POR for Simons and #23 (if that will get us Hendricks or somebody we like)
or...trade #8 to BRK for #21 (Jenkins) and #22 (Derrick Lively?)

I'm not ready to say "the draft flattens out"...but maybe a couple of bites for bench needs after our first big pick makes sense

...remember, depending on the salaries traded and what we do with our non-guaranteed salaries, we still have BIG $$$ for FA's

Let's Gooooo!

He is supposed to be a PG. Yet watching him play after that injury, his teammate, Black, seems to be doing the PG duties while h became a scoring weapon.

Compare him to Vince? Like a 6'7 SG/SF high flying slasher??? Err.... I dunno..

Caleb couldn't hold Dick's jockstrap. Have you watched any of his games? Dude makes JJ look like Fultz.

My point is that during college both were touted to be that 6'8 shooter that moves around the court dragging the defenses with him. However, like a lot of college shooters, it didn't translate yet to the nba. Will it for Caleb? he is getting there but we will see. Will it translate for Grady? Hopefully but we will see.

Yup. Thats gonna factor in a lot of GMs. Like someone compared him to Jabari... but he is 2 years older at this time no?
It looks like Miller has a better handle than Jabari.

Why not both? We have a need for an offball deadeye three point shooter. Draft Dick and let Caleb develop one more year and see which one pans out...or maybe both pan out. With Franz and Paolo as our playmaking forwards, I dont think it would hurt to have 2 offball shooters.

FYI Taylor Hendricks(ucf) is playing on espn 2 right now and he is an absolute stud. 6'9 swish army knife. Doesn't force the issue and seems to always make the right play. I wish the magic would aim for him some how. I think he is gonna be good in the nba. From Florida, playing for ucf, would fit right in.
